Dear Chava,
Are you sure the Dr.Mercola website is perfectly safe? I had to CANCEL out of a box that asked me for my E-mail address. I searched and got a reference to a page on raw eggs and salmanilla. But the box popped up again. When I tried to back out of the site, back arrow, the Mercola site was locked in. When I tried X out, top right, the Dr.Mercola Webpage would not close. I had to Control-Alt-Delete to get out olf the Mercola website. After that, My computer was running slow. I deleted all my cookies and internet files and re-booted.
Are you sure that site is OK? I have Norton Antivirus.
quite a few yrs back, mercola gave free info and bragged how he had all this free info others charged for. he also bragged he was not selling anything and others were. but i knew something was up. that is how he built his fan base and got everyone hooked. then, he slowly began to sell things. then, he wrote books. today, he sells many things and i heard he doesn't even see patients anymore. also, if you put a link to a site that cures something or is some good health info and he doesn't like it, he bans you. he has to be the one to be the guru over all the sheep. he has a lot of good info, don't get me wrong, but he also is irritating at times. one thing that bothers me, is he based his book the no grain diet on the glycemic index. right before it's release, the glycemic load came out. rather than re-write the book, he chose to release it anyway. so, it is way too restrictive. he knew about the glycemic load, but he made a ton of money on the book and he had spent a long time researching and writing. but it was wrong to do that and he should not have, in my opinion. it makes his diet way too restrictive.
Dear Chava and Ren,
Thanks for the re-assurance. Seemed like a good site. Hard to get out without subscribing, I guess.
