i just answered the latter - it is heritage products.
i do not recal any exact time frame for the tooth healing. i was not consistent with trying to remineralize it. in fact, i think i put it off for a couple of months, then hit it hard a couple of months, then the last two months was hit and miss. it had quit hurting like two or three months ago, before i even tried the evening primrose oil. funny though, now that i think about it, i could still feel it all the way up to the appointment, yet the ultrasonic cleaning did not hurt at all. my teeth were surprisingly not sensitive anywhere.
i got the impression that when i put the
Iodine on the tooth, it did something. but i cant be any more specific than that. i am sorry. i really didnt expect to see as much improvement as i did. in fact, i cancelled the filling when they called to confirm the appointment, not because i thought it was remineralized, but because i was determined to redouble my efforts to make it so. the funny thing, the dentist, who said he would write a paper if i remineralized the tooth, glossed right over the cavity not being there. instead, he found a couple of other spots he said were iffy. i think i have cavities licked at this point.
my diet is about 80% fruit and nuts and salads and some cheese. cilantro pesto and salsa and avocados. when i crave hot food, refried beens or organic eggs over easy. the other 20% is nibbling on the SAD that is around here or when we eat out. i like beef and chicken. and i like salmon, but in the can, usually. i only eat in the evening, so with one meal a day, it is hard for me to eat real bad. i have been concentrating on the oil pulling mostly. i sometimes experiment with what the pulling is like after what foods. that is why i tell people to stay away from milk. if i have a lot of dairy, the pull is like cottage cheese the next day.
