Hulda gall cleanse: start with a fat-free (fruits, grains, starchy or other vegies) breakfast and lunch, in order to build up bile pressure in liver; then drink
Epsom Salts at 18:00 and 20:00; at 22:00 drink olive oil with grapefruit or lemon juice and
Black-Walnut Tincture and go to bed. In morning, drink
Epsom Salts twice two hours apart (or Epsom then olive oil/juice mix then Epson each two hours apart) and start eating lightly in the afternoon.
SensibleHealth recommends something similar:
Eat fat-free all day, but have an empty stomach an hour before bed to drink oil/lemon juice mix, and sleep on right side; in the morning drink a liter of salt water (un-iodized
Sea Salt in filtered water), and eat only soft vegies and broth all second day.
Also suggests a 3-day alternative combining liver cleanse and gall flush:
Drink two cups of AJ seven times a day for two days, two hours apart (08:00 to 20:00) and eat no food (AJ fast). Drink olive oil/lemon juice mix at 20:30 on second day and go to bed; sleep on right side; drink liter of salt water in morning and eat soft vegies and broth all day. If no results, add another oil/juice mix on third night (with
Epsom Salt solution in warm water about two hours before to dilate bile duct) and a fourth day of vegies and broth.
Hulda recommends drinking things cold (specifically the
Epsom Salts for taste); SH recommends drinking all fluids at room temp or warm to avoid chilling liver, etc.
SH suggests using Chinese Bitters, GCG (Gold Coin Grass), Curcuma and/or Coptis at various points to help: ChBits to decongest liver prior to flush and/or GCG in tincture (with alcohol) to "crush" (dissolve/soften?) gallstones, both for a week or few. Coptis to stimulate bile flow to lubricate stone passage and Curcuma to "increase energy flow." (Epsom salts or Coptis and Curcuma if a stone gets stuck).
For kidney cleanse, Hulda offers what I think is a very complicated recipe. SH recommends a kidney tea composed of GCG, corn silk and Eucommia; the principal is that the liver operates on non-water-soluble substances (and stuff has to go through the liver to get to the gall bladder), so take liver and gall medications as tinctures, while the kidneys operate on water-solubles, so take as tea. SH also states a preference for GCG tincture over Lidan, a patented Chinese medicine containing mostly GCG in tablet form. It occurs to me that Lidan might be a pretty good alternatove to kidney tea.
Someone (forget which) recommended sipping olive oil and lemon juice separately, as more palatble then mixing. If find the slimey mix to be absolutely disgusting, but there did not seem to be an issue with effectiveness.
I did the three day AJ fast. Not only did I not get any stones, but I did not even get the runs during the two days of the AJ fast, which is supposed to be a given. I'm trying again, tomorrow, on the four-day AJ routine with Epsom salt. If that doesn't work, I'll probably try the Chinese herbs.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience or educated opinions about any of this, please?
Kind regards.
