Dreaming about vomiting

I have had this dream twice now. I am throwing up violently. It is so vivid, that when I wake up I am scared that I actally did throw up in my sleep, and I am usually drooling (gross, I know!). For some reason I find this really disturbing.
The last time I had it I was at a hospital, yelling at the doctor because something he gave me almost killed me. No one seemed to notice how sick I had just been, but kept forcing me to do something.

wondering if you've had a bad religious experience
like something that's supposed to be "good for you" (medicine/religious belief)
but you're allergic or something.
Also watch what is going on in your life when/if this dream returns.
Seems to me you are being directed to "do something" that's going against your grain.
Also watch your language/thoughts - anything that makes you think/say
"sick to my stomach" or "nauseous" might tip you off to what these dreams are about.

I don't think I have had any bad religious experiences. I was raised Catholic but haven't practised in years. Your theory makes sense though.
I do have some medical things coming up and I frequently get nauseous or have an upset stomach. I always have, even when I was a kid, I would get nauseous when I was nervous. There are also some personal things going on, where I thought I was doing the right thing for a family member, but I think deep down inside it was the right thing to do (for me) and I can't get out of it. It is causing a lot of bad a "trapped" feelings, that I feel like I can't do anything about.
I haven't had it again (yet) Thank God!

I have not interpreted on this forum for a while now, I was just adding links to my Website on Curezone, and saw your dream and felt to respond as it seemed very vivid for you. The vividness should make it quite clear for you. Any uncertainty or conflict you have experienced may resolve, when you listen to The Inner messages.
I feel and am quite certain that the violent throwing up is your subconscious way of dealing with the rejection of things that you are taking into yourself that go against The Inner knowledge you may have. I feel the first dream showed you it was medical related. Are you going through medical routes and your Inner Self rejects these things? If so you must do what you feel rather than what your Inner Self says.
The fact that you have had another dream like this tells me perhaps you are experiencing trepidation of upcoming medical procedures or doctor visits?
The first dream you had, the doctor gave you something, that almost killed you, I assume medications and recommended medical courses or procedures may not be what you need. The Inner Doctor may be telling you this. The message may be That The Inner Doctor is prescribing something that is more in alignment with what you FEEL is right for you. On the other hand are there things you FEEL you should be doing yet are rejecting? more details of the dream as well as your FEELINGS will reveal this.

I had Indeed decided to drop off the face of the 'old earth' which I did, had a stay at the yoga ashram and am back in a 'new earth' of my own creation I am here right?
I have been doing dream interpretation by email for a long time. When Tracey first left years ago I was leaving also. People began emailing me and I kept going because so many were emailing me.
I do some for free and some paid from outside clients. For a long time I was sacrificing my business from putting so much time in with dreams. So I began doing some paid interpretations and was able to justify it a bit, because it is so meaningful to understand the subconscious messages do you not think?. Receiving some pay helped me pursue and begin to accomplish what I truly have desired, which is helping others and facilitating and writing and learning new therapies etc... In the spirit of my intentions, as always I do much Pro Bono though! It brings back even more than I can imagine!
I am currently combining enhanced dream recall and analysis with my hypnotherapy clients and will be integrating something soon for some of the folks at a cultural center here and perhaps at the yoga center here. I have narrowed it down to three things:
1) a medical procedure I am considering having
2) an issue with my mother (I did something for her I thought was the right thing, and has turned out to be the wrong thing, it's making me miserable, but I can't undo it)
3) issues with my job, which I love, but inside I kind of fear I will grow stagnant here, but feel I need to stay because I need the stability in my life and the $.
I wondered about the doctor part being my mother, who is always telling me what's good for me, and is an authority figure in my life?

This is a reply to # 821,129Hi I had not read through the thread when I responded because I like to use my intuition and combine with details and feelings you may give. So I had not read that you had some medical things coming nor that you had done something for someone (mother). I strongly feel that it is medical related (a)because the first one involved the doctor and (b)the second dream occurred when you admittedly have more medical things coming up.
It seems to me that you are the doctor, (you are) your Inner Self can be a healer and if you are not aligned you manifest as a quack. The first dream may show that you did or allowed something to treat (the body)that the Inner Healer knows is not necessary. You threw up violently to make this clear. Yes it could also refer to you violently expelling something that you have been resisting, something that did not sit right, it is not about your mother it is all about you. You know inside whether to hold something in or whether to speak it or do it. You decide to repress or express. Decide Inside (for you)whether it was the right thing to do and honor your Inner self for making the right decision.
It is important to give the details of the dream like what is going on when you are throwing up, do you feel better or worse? what did the doctor give you, why were you sick? what was someone trying to force you to do. How does the dream cause you to feel and what is on your mind besides the grossness of the drool?
I do not see relation to your job given the details you supplied unless your job is medical related.. It is possible that all 3 are intertwined to really make it clear for you. Relating to your job, Always follow your bliss the rest will come. You will feel the burdens lift when you do this one rule even without identifying the culprit.

This is a reply to # 821,224Hmmm...you make some interesting points that I had not thought about. I will try to remember.
When I am throwing up, my husband is standing next to me with his hand on my back or stroking my hair and he is angry at the doctor for either not treating me, or treating me with something that made me sick.
I think I feel better, but I am scared that I was so sick (in real life, throwing up scares me) I don't remember any other details, except the violence of being sick.
In terms of medical things. I am considering having weight loss surgery. I feel I have made the right decision, and the only one I have discussed it with is my husband, he is supportive of me, but not my choice, if that makes sense. He thinks I can do it on my own and is scared something will happen to me.
In terms of my mother, I guess I feel like I was forced into a situation that I can not now get myself out of with her. Deep inside, I really think I made the wrong choice, and feel trapped, guilty, etc.
The idea of follow my own bliss, seems so selfish! I kind of believe in a job as being a mean to afford the things that fulfill you, not something that should fulfill you in and of itself. Which is what my job is for me, but I have a lot of people surrounding me telling me they wish I would to "more" with myself, which makes me doubt my decisions.- Assimilating and Regurgitating Ayehasherayeh

I feel you are holding feelings of being trapped and forced, yet you usually swallow these feelings just to get them to go away. I feel with this dream that your Inner Self is saying that it is time to start assimilating literally and mentally so that you are comfortable in digesting what you swallow. Once the mind carries these feelings for very long with no resolution they are deposited in the body in sort of a seal and the mind works with the body to cover it up as much as possible.
I actually felt that you might be having a weight loss surgery. I also feel that you have a deep trauma perhaps from childhood. I was thinking of you last night as I sent Distant Reiki to some women. The first was easy and she filled with light. The second one had difficulty accepting light in the stomach and I spent extra time and asked her permission and she finally allowed. I felt much sadness and trauma in her stomach area and asked her about it after the treatment., She had indeed suffered a trauma and it was being held in that area even though she had surgery to deal with the physical problem, she still holds the energetic pattern and it is causing problems.
