Feeling colder than other people around you?
1. Hypothyroidism, when people have it, doesn't always result in being overweight. It can result in being too thin - the adrenals try to take up some of the slack and your body runs too much on adrenalin, for those people in that unique situation. I was in that situation for a long time.
2. Candida overgrowth can cause the chilly feeling; whether or not it means the thyroid is struggling is a matter of debate, but lots of people have reported worsening of their chilly feeling during weeks when their other candida symptoms flare up. But not everyone - some don't have this issue, even when having candida problems.
3. Example: I had to take emergency
Antibiotics briefly recently. During that week, I suddenly felt cold all the time, which I haven't had a problem with in years.
Reason:
either the
Antibiotics killed off enough of my good bacteria to cause a worsening of my candida (I did have other candida symptoms worsen that week too), or the
Antibiotics did other damage that made my thyroid freak out that week. Luckily, I was able to quit the antibiotics after only a week, and that cold feeling disappeared. My other candida symptoms got less again, back to where they were before that
Antibiotic regime - still have them as before though. The point is, that was a direct cause and effect that week: antibiotics equaled feeling cold, for me.
