I would be wary of using the vicco toothpaste. You can find all kinds of info on the ills of sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates on the web. If it's a bad idea to use it on your head, it's probably a bad idea to use it in your mouth. Though the packaging may lead you to believe it is all pure and natural, I don't believe it acutally is. If my memory serves me correctly, all vicco products are made in India, whose standards and regulations differ greatly from those here in the states. Since they aren't subject to our standards, they can say whatever they choose on the package. I have been using another ayurvedic toothpaste for years, which leaves my mouth cleaner and fresher than any other I've used. It's made by Auromere, and comes in several flavors. If you cannot find it at your local store, you can order it from the Ayurvedic institute in Albequerque, NM from their website
