Yes, caprylic oil is necessary. It is imperitive to have an antifungal in the shake otherwise you are wasting your time IMO. And a shaker is a must. Stirring will make it thick and muddy and not mixed thoroughly. Just a plastic cup with a lid or a jar. Anything that you can mix ingredients in and then shake quickly then drink. Probably the
Bentonite is the problem . I buy the liquid not the kind that has to be mixed. Many people have trouble getting the mixable kind to the right consistency. Mine is very watery.
It is so important to use an antifungal. The whole idea of the shakes is to use the delivery system of a bulking agent such as psyllium to force the antifungal into the intestines as opposed to just popping a pill that will not reach the surrounding wall of the intestine. This way the antifungal is forced in the intestine and as the psyllium sweeps the bowel clean it deposits the antifungal to kill candida where it hides. This is extremely effective. Any other way takes much longer and no where near as efficient. Just using the shakes alone is a very slow process. You are bowel cleansing and that is all. But you are NOT killing most of the candida. Most of it has atttached itself to the lining of your intestines and will need to be dead before it releases its grip so that psyllium can sweep it out.
