As to protein...I've been eating mostly veg soup! It has lots of beans in it of diff kinds (kidney, black-eyed peas, limas). I added some soup to it last night that I had previously frozen -- it had some ham in it, but not much.
This morning I had a piece of peanut butter toast, and a few walnuts. Lunch was a HUGE salad, and a baked potato w/ salsa. Guess I'll go drink some more water...Oh, I had some peach "detox" tea this morning, and some "fasting" tea this afternoon, just 'cause I wanted to see what they tasted like.
Dinner is to be rice pancakes (for my wheat-allergic ds), but I can always scramble an egg or something.
We don't eat tons of meat, just because it's so $$$ to get the good stuff. Fish is outrageous, chicken is do-able, beef and lamb are occ'ly do-able. Dh is not quite as on board with all this (!), so I do end up buying sausage, etc.
Overall, I feel like I'm doing pretty well! But does this give you any more insight? Wish the lightheadedness would go completely away. Off for water--later!
