Lovelylaydie,
I have 30 minutes extra this morning so I logged back on before I left. Glad to get your post. I will be glad to be your support mom also. That is a role I love and cherish. I've not read kierkegord but my son loves him and has read everything he's written. He was a policy politic major and a philosophy minor in undergrad. Now he's at Georgetown law and doing International Human Rights. He has such a heart for the oppressed and specifically the illegal trafficing of young girls like in cambodia. I think that Kierkegord really influenced him that way.
My moth story means alot to me. I've been through alot. Started as a child where I was abused alot. That makes you ask questions about yourself, God, life, etc. I've found the answer that I believe is the truth and it's that everything will be used for good in my life and to bring glory to God through Jesus. I know God hated some of the things that happened to me but there is a greater eternal purpose. Life can be tough at times.
Listen you can do whatever you put your mind to. I've found that life, disappointment, weight loss, health issues, etc; it's a matter of my thought pattern. I can spiral down into despondancy if I don't talk truth to myself instead of letting myself talk to me.
The truth is that today you are free to make the choices to complete your fast. You shouldn't let your mind tell you otherwise.
I will be thinking of you and liftng up a prayer! You can accomplish this. I will just be a click away.
Blessings,
Cheryl
