Dear Wombat,
The pleasure is all mine, please let me reiterate that I am not a gardner or farmer. Although I do wish I had a green thumb as some people seem to have. I knew one lady that I believe she could plant a broom stick in the ground and get it to bloom.
I found sonic bloom at sonic bloom.com. I read rhe complete story and decided to try it. I even talked to Dan Carlson the gentleman that came up with the idea. He is a real nice man and he will talk to you if you want to call him, if you can catch him at home, because he travels all over the world teaching the sonic bloom method of farming.
My sonic bloom experience. I used my bachyard as the test garden. the area was about 30'x50'. I had cream 40 peas, zipper peas, climbing butterbeans, squash, and bell peppers, and about 4-5 types of tomatoes.I tried not to use and hybreds at all but could not help it as this was my first try.
I had two/three soil samples taken to see what I needed to have good soil.I bought the natural fertilizer from sonic bloom with cd's that I played music to each day before thr plant leaves were sprayed form the bottom. that is where they ( the leaves ) take most of the nutrents. The music has a certain harmonic frequency that causes the poers to open.
I bought 4 outdoor speakers to use around the garden and mounted them on 6' post. I played music for 2hrs before I sprayed. I mixed one
oz. of mixture to one gal. of water. Since it was a test garden I baught a new Wagner paint sprayer to use, it worked out real well. I forget how often I sprayed once a day, then I was suppose to spray twice a day.
I have problems with my shoulders and it got to the point where I couldn't continue to spray twice a day,and I didn't have anyone to help.
Here are the results even though I wasn't able to do it properly. Not being a gardner I consulted the county agents weekly, because the are MASTER GARDNERS (Oh how I wish I was).
Tomatoes.... I had Rudgers, Marglobe,Bigboy,Sweet-100's cherry tomatoes.
All of my tomatoes were over 12' tall with lots of fruit. I tried to save lots of seeds and now I don't even know where they are. I hope in the freezer. The fruit was larger than normal and more of it. At ont time I had over 800 sweet 100 cherry tomatoes on the plant at one time. That 800 is not a typo.
The tomatoes were so tall that I had to put my sprinkler on a six foot poll to water the garden.
The peas.... I aeked the Master Gardners how many peas were in a normal pod. I was told the normal was 9-11 peas per pod. I was getting 21-23 peas per pod.
the climbing Butterbeans.... They grew up an arbor that I put up, into my neighbors redtip hedge and up into his oak trees.
Madame Wombat, I hope this gives you an idea what the use of sonic bloom can do and remember, I didn't even do it thee right way
Sincerely I C L
