Kevin, the reason some people arent taking you seriously is because you do a lot of complaing and not a lot of doing. So many of us have put so much effort into trying to help you, we've laid it all out for you. Told you exactly what to do. But yet, you continue to complain and say we're not taking you seriously.
I can't tell how serious we are. I have never in my life seen so many people put so much effort into trying to help someone. It's very frustrating when people don't listen after you've made so much effort into trying to get through to them. So a lot of people have backed off and gave up.
It sometimes sounds as if all you really want is sympathy. That's the truth, how hard it may be. We can only help you so much, the rest you have to do yourself.
That being said, I've been reading your messages for a while now and I think that you are suffering from mild depression. Believe me I know what
Depression is. I've had it, my kids have had it, most of my siblings have had it(and many still do), and my mother has had it. I know what
Depression is like. I know all the symptoms, and I think you might be suffering from it.
Unfortunatly, doctors are usually useless when it comes to depression. As they are with most everything.
Depression is just another name for a dysfunctioning body. It just manifests differently in different people. The cause is all the same, and the cure is usually the same.
I know you feel stuck, sad and want to cry(symptom of depression)and thats alright. Let out whatever you need to. Cry your eyes out, I always felt better after I let it all out.
But you can't cry forever. After the crying is done, you need to pick youself up and keep trying.
If you can I would get the book Depression Free For Life, by Gabriel Cousens. It's an amazing book that explains all the symptoms of the different forms of depression, and what you can do to heal it.
Taking amino acid supplements such as tryptophan and also good fats such as flax oil have really helped my family and I. But remember that this is just to help you along. The real cure will be cleansing your body and eating a good diet.
It's not normal to feel like this. Remember that this is not you. You can feel happy. There is nothing like depression. You can't live normally when your depressed. But you can change that. It's an amazing feeling when you go from depression to no longer feeling depressed. All of the sudden life feels really good. Even if things aren't the greatest(like itching crotch and such)you can still feel joy, and still feel happy despite your struggles.
So just keep doing what you can and try to remember that this will change. And if you need to cry then cry, if you need to hit something, hit a pillow, but don't give up hope. You can create your reality, but it takes time. Just make baby steps, and you'll get there.
Also, if your going to cure depression, you just have to give up sugar. Otherwise it will be a vicious cycle and you will probably not get well. Don't wait unitl then, start now. Start now!
Good luck!
Mary
