Hello again, here are some things I’ve saved from reading either on curezone or elsewhere. This is what I’d give a friend or family member to get them started. This first post I can’t credit the author of, sorry—I generally just save the post, but it’s full of good and inspiring information.
Curezone post
Hello! You've come to the right place!!
I'm a type 1 diabetic and from the information I've gathered, it is possible to cure type 1 diabetes.
The first thing I'd like to tell you about is a boy named Sergei Boutenko. Sergei was cured of type 1 diabetes after going on a 100% raw diet. You can read his story here
http://www.alternativesmagazine.com/18/boutenko.html
Another testimonial that I saw of someone who cured their type 1 diabetes through a raw diet is here
http://www.rawfood.com/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=00000...
There is also a book called The Ph Miracle for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes by Dr. Robert Young that has a few testimonials of people who were completely cured of type 1 and lots more that dramatically reduced their insulin.
There is also a great website that has dozens of articles with ways on how to to cure or reduce the complications of type 1 diabetes. This is it
http://www.cancertutor.com/Diabetes/index.html
There is a great article on cancertutor that I want to point out to you. Here it is
http://users.mrbean.net.au/~wlast/diabetestruth.html
In that article they describe a fast that can help heal diabetes. I did this fast and although I'm not completely off insulin injections, I drastically reduced my insulin levels and they have stayed down since.
I also wanted to tell you about a woman that I have been in contact with. Her name is Aimme Perrin and her website is
http://www.livingandhealingraw.com Aimee has had type 1 diabetes for 35 years and has been raw for 3 years. She has been able to reduce her insulin to only 6-8 units a day and hopes to get completely off. She has had a lot of experience with diabetes healing methods and has just written her very first newsletter about diabetes and a healing, raw diet. I think you can find it on her website.
One thing that I have done that has really reduced my insulin levels is getting tested for hidden allergies. I did the Prime allergy test in Tijuana, Mexico. As far as I know the only places to get this down are the clinic I went to in Mexico and a man who does it in Washington. Obviously this is only convenient for a few people. But I have found a technique that is just as effective in finding out which foods you are allergic to. It's called kinesiology muscle testing and I describe how to do it here
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=272967#i
After about a year of a natural diet and therapies(mostly raw for 7 months)I have been able to reduce my insulin from 60 units of day time insulin and 46 units of nightime insulin, to 6-8 units of of daytime insulin and 12 units of nighttime insulin. My A1c has gone form 9.0 to 6.8.
I know there is a cure for diabetes. I am already seeing it happen in myself. I've even gone some days with no insulin at all.
There are a ton of other things that I know of that can help and have helped my diabetes and I'll have to talk to you about them later. I'm sure that sans sucre can also give you some advice.
Feel free to ask anymore questions!

You might find this post in the diabetes forum among the R (recommended messages) I’m not sure—but I would caution you against reading too much from people looking for help and concentrate instead on the roots of disease—which all comes back to how balanced the body is
in terms of pH. There is a good link included in the post, and you might like to read some of the messages at AskMoreless forum. Connected to that forum is a website that outlines a protocol that many have found successful in raising their ph. The more pure the diet, the better everything will go—so you will have to look at your diet too, and make these changes for yourself and your son.
It is easy to become overwhelmed by posts and forums here on curezone…there is so much to read, but again, just be mindful that many people have not yet regained their health but are anxious to share ideas for this or that supplement or cleanse. I am sure by now you will have received other helpful replies so I leave it at that.
The bottom line is, it really is more simple than the doctors would have you believe—their realm is one of managing disease—and as such, the idea of people not needing this kind of management is foreign to them. Here’s something that you can take to heart I think, as I have.
Let your food be your medicine—and your medicine your food.
That says a lot.
PS-- there is a documentary called RAWfor30days that was mentioned and linked to a few days ago. You could google it I’m sure. It is inspiring in that they document results with real people in healing their diabetes…among other issues. I think only the trailer is available now (as the film is being edited) but it is 8 minutes of inspiration and will have you believing in the power of the body to regain its own health, if we just remove the obstacles to that—and let it.
All Best wishes with your son’s health and your own.
This should be enough information. :-)
