Hello StarBrite,
Chronic pain is no fun. I am a fellow sufferer. Mine was due to an automobile accident when I was 19 or 20 years old which twisted my spine and any number of falls. I have tried a many things over the years and found spinal manipulation and biofeedback to be the most effective. Also ice wrapped in a damp washcloth on the affected area (do not exceed 20 min) followed by a hot pack will give considerable relief. The ice works best in the first 48 hrs after injury, but helps any time thereafter when there is a flair up of pain.
There are also a number of other factors to look at. How much do you exercise and what type of workout? Do you have an active job or sit at a computer? (I'm a computer person so I have to work hard to stay fit and thin) Are you subject to extreme stress levels and the "biggies" do you smoke or use drugs? All of which can cause problems with the spine. Exercise releives stress, but can injure the spine if done in excess or incorrectly, smoking affects the upper half to two thirds of the spine espically the neck, and drugs destroy everything.
My joint and spine problems have responded well to the
Bentonite and olive leaf extract I'm presently taking. Also the
colonic I just underwent loosened some tight areas in my central spine. I should have followed with a chiropratic visit but didn't. I will on the next one. I am also doing some research on cetyl myristoleate but haven't tried any yet. There is a considerable body of information to work through with some impressive facts and personal testomionals.
My main problem is stress, I quit smoking 8 or 9 years ago. I'm presently facing a divorce with a 7 yr old caught in the middle and will be much better when that issue is resolved. But enough of that. I hope some of this helps.
Please note that I am not a Medical Professional but only state what works or has worked for me.
