Good morning and oh, thank you so much for responding.
I am a vegetarian, however I do have eggs, tuna and sardines - have followed alternative medicine for years - try to live as natural and healthy as I can. No soda, sugars, breads infrequently, etc.
I have been fighting with my blood pressure for a number of years now - I detest taking drugs and I avoid them like the plague but, what could I do - my BP has been as high as 200/110 - the drugs really don't take care of the problem, we know that and, that is one reason I want to get off of them - not to mention the side affects.
Well, I take many supplements once again - magnesium/calcium powder - b6 - dhea - natural bioidenticaal hormones from a compounding pharmacy (I have done many blood tests) - gingko biloba - msm (just started) - just started high doses of vitamin c - chromium picolinate - vitamin e - folic acid - niacin - just started 5htp cream - , etc.
I only have one cup of coffee in the morning - I don't usually have breakfast - I have been having a problem with sleep in that I wake up at 5 am everyday and cannot go back to sleep. So, since I don't finally get up most times till late breakfast is past. I will usually have either oatmeal, kashi, soy sausages on occasion, perhaps a leftover dish from the evening before like rice of veggies, etc.
I take the bromelain because it has always helped me with digestion - after eating it makes my stomach feel lite again after about one hour. I have had really bad constipation problems because of iron deficiency anemia - my hemoglobin has been as low as 7 - so I take iron supplments from Life Extension and these are much milder than the junk in drug stores which is what the stupid doctor had recommended. However, since starting the high dose vitamin c I am seeing a difference in bowel movements. However, now it appears I must go higher on the vitamin c because it is not working like it did initially.
Have had renal MRA for high blood pressure testing and it came back normal - have had my amino acids tested among a thousand other tests (with no insurance might I add) and nothing seems to pop out - my homcyctine is always great.
So - I am trying the best I can to get off these BP drugs - what can I do - My BP always makes me sweat PROFUSELY and get hot - my body temperature most times is so "hot to the touch" where even the doctor remarked at the fact that my body felt so hot. Of course, god forbid he go any further to investigate and determine the cause. Stay away from doctors and you might live longer in this country.
I appreciate any and all advice and guidance. Thank you.
