I'm in!
I've fasted before, but never made it past 4 days. I always have a breakdown around day 3 or 4 and I really want to overcome that. This time I'm fasting for many reasons: to jump start weight loss, to detox, to save money, and to wear whatever halloween costume I choose with confidence.
I don't have any set number of days...I had to send in my MP3 player to get repaired so I think I'm going to fast as long as it's away. In the meantime, I'll exercise at home with my bike, some tapes, a jump rope, and some light weights. I can't seem to go to the gym without any music.
I like the idea of fasting for about 6-10 days, slowly incorporating raw foods and soups into my diet, and then resuming healthier eating. I just know I can't fast too often because it really slows my metabolism...and weight training is the only way I can increase my metabolism and I need protein to support that.
I have a question for everyone...What kind of fast are you doing?
I've only done
The Master Cleanse in the past, but I'm now thinking about fasting with distilled water and green food powder...and perhaps a tsp. of coconut or flax oil because my skin gets very dry when I fast. What do you think of this?

Weight: 137lb
Build: Small (pear-shaped)
