I've been bowel cleansing since January. At the height of it, I was finding that old songs that I haven't heard or thought about in years were coming into my head and remaining there for a couple of days. In one instance a song came that I like with a traumatic incident. My feeling was that I was working through and releasing old stuff. When I think about my relationships to food (for comfort etc.) it's not surprising to me that emotions can be trapped with material trapped in the body. When you get it out, the old emotions are gone! At least it feels that way to me. I tried to feel that it was just stuff passing through me and (like they teach you in meditation) tried not to hold on to it. Just let it go.

I'm about to do a liver cleanse and fully expect a lot of anger and resentment to go with that too.

You probably already know this, but your liver is the organ that holds your emotions.

So, it just makes sense that if you flush the stones out of your liver, your pain is flushed away, too! Kinda neat, huh?

in the fist month of my bowel/ parasite cleanse i went through an emotional cleanout! i pushed everyone away and even tried to end a very wonderful relationship with my partner! luckily he knew i was cleaning house (in more then one way) and ignored my mood swings! thank god. so i know how it can be... all you can do is just ride it out and remember it too shall pass along with all that other gunk! remember, cells have a memory, everything is charged so you are uncovering old stuff,it can't hurt you again, all it can do is come out, tears are cleansing!
