I would highly recommend you take some good Omega 3/6 oils, such as Flax, Evening Primrose, Borage and/or Fish oils. There are several blends out there. These oils are especially good for the developing brain of your baby and I have heard that they can provide some healing properties for eczema. I have not been taking my Borage and Flax oil like I should be since I gave birth to my third child almost 3 years ago, I just ordered a blend that has flax, borage and EPO all in one and hope that it will provide benefits for my skin.
You don't mention taking acidophilus, I would highly recommend it not only for the eczema but also for a healthy pregnancy, it is basically a more condensed form of the healthy bacterias that you find in yogurt.
Make sure your bowel is moving frequently, at least 1 time a day but preferably more, you can do this by taking some psyllium with plenty of water or eat bran flakes or the like each morning.
Make sure you drink plenty of water! I know when I drink the recommended amount of water per day I see an improvement in the way I feel and look.
The last thing I can suggest may or may not work for you since you are pregnant and that is tea, I have found that drinking ice tea has helped my eczema tremendously, I can tell when I haven't been drinking it when my fingers start splitting open, espeically now as winter has been setting in. Speaking of winter be sure to keep your hands covered when you go outside, the cold air will dry your hands out. Back to the tea, my Dad had given me an article that talked about oolong tea being so good for eczema, I have found even regular tea like they make at the restaurant I work at, works just fine for me, the one thing you want to be sure you are getting is non-caffinated tea.
I sure hope I have given you something to work with, I know where you are at, I had eczema shortly before getting married then it went away for about 5 years and returned after the birth of my second child since then it has plagued me. The only factors I can figure are I was gestational diabetic during my pregnacy and then went crazy eatting everything I couldn't eat during pregnancy and probably stirred up some candida. And second I cut myself and had to have stitches and at the time they decided I should have a tetinnus (sp?) shot, interestingly enough my last break out of eczema happened sometime after the same shot seven years earlier, hmmmmmm coincidence????? I'm not so sure.
Best wishes for a wonderful pregnancy!
