I'm currently on my 6th day of the
Master-Cleanse and I've lost about 6-7
pounds so far. My beginning weight was 278 and I'm roughly about 271 now. Oddly enough my weight has'nt changed in the last 2 days, I've been holding steady since day 4.
My primary goal for doing the
Master-Cleanse is to lose weight. I've had a VERY difficult time taking off weight, despite exercising on a regular basis. Its been very frustrating, I've incorporated weight lifting and cardio into my schedule along with a balanced diet only to see very minimal results. The lack of results often has made me abandon whatever program I was doing after a couple of weeks. However I'm trying to be determined not to give up which is why I'm attempting to fast. Hopefully a good cleanse will give me jump start on my weight loss goals.
Just a little info about myself: I'm 31, currently weighing 271
pounds and I'm roughly about 6'1 - 6'2 in height. My target weight will likely be between 195-215, I used to lift weights quite a bit in the past and I found that the high 190's to low 200's was a healthy weight for me. I should also mentioned that I'm a type 2 diabetic, I have been for about 4 years now.
I would appreciate any information or suggestions on what an overweight person should do after completing
The Master Cleanser fast. I'm contemplating wrapping up the
Master-Cleanse after 10 days and moving into the Bill Philips "Body for Life" program. He advocates vigorous exercise along with a balanced meal plan. I purchased his book of recipes to give me a good idea of what I should be eating and how frequently. However I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for any advice you can share.
