Hi,
I finished reading Dr. Bruce Lipton's book "Biology of Belief". It is really so fascinating. Everything he said makes so much sense! The problem is that, he doesn't provide a system to actually reprogram the subconscious mind. For that, he recommeds PSYCH-K.
So, with great excitement, I bought the PSYCH-K book and started reading it, only to find out that it is more like an infomercial, without giving any actually technique on the subconscious reprogramming. I googled PSYCH-K and can't find out any more detail either, only a bunch of practioners that are all out of state from me. I don't have the money or the time to go to the workshops.
Has anyone here tried PSYCH-K? Does it really work? Is there any other way to effectively reprogram subconscious mind?
Sorry for all the questions. I am new to consciousness and awareness expansion, so any idea is welcome. I've always known that my subconsious mind is a basket case, but just don't know how to change it. Now that I realise the possibilities, if only there is a way to get there! *sigh*

This is a reply to # 500,037Lipton endorses the use of EFT (emotional Freedom Technique) which is a free accessing technicque which erases incoherent subconscious programming. It is a free technique.
Also consider using TAT and once you begin clearing issues you can move onto self hypnosis. I also like chanting and meditation which will all work towards the same level of higher coherency. In particular I enjoy kirtan chanting by Krishan Das and a chanting medititation by Jonothan Goldman entitled "Medicine Buddha." The latter is good for healing at all levels, whil the kirtan chanting is good for expanding the heart "mind" and allowing access to more joy.
You can also explore "HeartMath" as a way to creat coherency between the heart and brain. This has many benefits.

Also look into other accessing mehtods such as the Toltec style as utilized by Don Miguel Ruiz; Accessing by doing "The Work" Bryon Katie style; or even Brandon Bays style of accessing called "The Journey."

Just want to tell you how much I appreciate all the article you posted. They have been my daily bread for the last few months since I found curezone.
Yes, I have downloaded the EFT manual and tried EFT on myself. It is wonderful! It is just that I still need to find out my exact issues and formulate affirmations for them. There is so much hidden under the carpet in my subconsious that finding them out one by one will take time. But from the little that I have done, I do feel that it is a powerful technique. I love it!
I have never been able to hypnotize myself, never been able to relax enough. I just got the Insight CDs (recommended by Dr. Mercola) and it does seem to relax me. I try giving myself some affirmations when I listen to it. Just see how that goes...
Have you had any experience with products like Insight CD or Holosync or other brainwave programs?
And I'll sure to find out about the other methods that you have mentioned too!

This is a reply to # 500,038The heart has a brain and the brain can connect to the heart- but does not have to- This is why (I suspect) that all the wise ones counsel to open the heart- to think from the heat-etc- It has both qualities in it's makeup.

This is a reply to # 500,037Hello and greetings. Since 1986, I've been studying "self-help", etc, which doesn't work or can't work . I have a suggestion that helped me a lot, but I beg you not to interpret this as an attempt to convert you to religion, because I am not a "religious" person.
In 2004, I discovered a book written about 80 years ago called "THE GAME OF LIFE AND HOW TO PLAY IT " by Florence Scovel Shinn. This book helped me more than all the other hundreds (yes, hundreds, I am a book-worm). Learn how to choose and practice the art and Science of self-affirmations. Read this book and ignore the religious element of it and focus on the meta-physical power of affirmations!
The only other book that I found "eye-opening" was WAKE UP AND LIVE by Dorothea Brande!
Good luck. Don't give up, and be kind to yourself. The vast majority have screwed up sub-conscious programming , and it was not an accident!

By the way, I forgot to mention that to develop the discipline to make affirmations, I bought a hand click-counter on Amazon.com.
Each morning, while walking, I put my hand into my Pocket and there"s my "click-counter". So, I don't forget to do my affirmations.
The subconsciuos will at forst resist affirmations. Eventually it accepts, but only if you develop this habit.
