Hi purpleblossom, you ask if there are any health risks from
colonic irrigation, and the answer depends on several factors, notably the training and experience of the therapist, and the sanitary conditions under which the
colonics are administered.
I always encourage prospective
colonic clients to visit the studios of the therapist before scheduling an appointment. Everything should be spotless clean, from the
colonic system to the bathroom, the floors, everything. If they don't use disposable attachments (speculum, inflow and outflow tubing), find someplace else.
Ask lots of questions and you'll get a feel for the person who will be administering the colonic. You should feel very comfortable before scheduling an appointment.
In the meantime, if you are seeking immediate results, try cleansing enemas. If you are unfamiliar with how to go about this, see:

Best wishes, sincerely,
