Hanna,
The more I read your posts and recommendations, the more concerned and alarmed I become...about your own health (which is your business, of course), but also what you recommend to others (which is everybody's business, of course).
You have posted countless times that your continued daily use of
Oxypowder is because you're an overeater, and you like the effect "of feeling lighter"... and I've been reading that same message in varying posts from you since August. Which means you've been using
Oxypowder for at least 4-5 months daily? There's just no way that can be healthy for your colon! But that's completely your business...but it becomes others' business, when it becomes obvious that it affects the logic and messages of your advice to others.
I've read the information on the
Oxypowder sight, and I'm thoroughly convinced that "liquifying" fecal matter DOES NOT, in ANY WAY exercise or strengthen the peristalic action or muscles of the digestive tract...or cause them to be utilized for elimination. Using any product or procedure that continually allows one's muscles to be completely inactive is extremely counter-productive to the health of our bodies. In an emergency situation, it's entirely different. But using Oxypowder (or anything else), just because you want "to feel lighter" is no different than an anorexic/bulimic abusing over the counter laxatives.
And, yes, I have read Andreas' views & posts on Oxypowder, and while he feels like it is a good product (which I don't completely agree with, but do agree that people need to get the junk out of their colon). Still, he certainly never recommends it for use as something to use INSTEAD of changing one's diet or as a way to make one 'feel lighter' when they are overweight. I don't know why he doesn't recommend other products, but I'm sure it has to with his Arvurvedic beliefs...and while some feel that Arvurveda is great; others feel that it is not. Personally, I don't know enough about it to make that kind of determination...but I DO know about the research and success of hundreds of healers.
You post regulary that "herbal laxatives" are addicting and/or habit forming, yet you yourself use a colon cleansing product in a harmful, habit forming manner...and I feel (obviously VERY strongly) that until you achieve successful elimination in a healthy manner (or at least can offer educated, truthful, logical viewpoints to consider), that your advice shouldn't be seriously considered by anyone that is asking for help...ESPECIALLY those in a serious health crises.
You say again & again, "herbal laxatives ARE habit-forming", but the most respected, experienced and educated successful healers of the last two centuries disagree with you. Dr. Christopher,
Dr. Schulze , and countless others...ALL recommend the use of herbals to clean & tone the bowel. Of course, if overused and depended upon they can become addicting (just like absolutely ANYTHING). But to just tell someone in need of advice that herbal preparations ARE addictive and absolutely nothing else, is extremely unsound (and untrue) advise.
I think everybody has a right to their opinion, and they obviously have a right to post anything they'd like. I also realize I'm supposed to challenge the message, not the messenger...but with the hundreds/thousands of posts I've read of yours, it's not easy for me to separate the message from the messenger. The only thing it's easy for me to do, is post sound knowledge and researched methodology.
Blessings always,
Unyquity
