All I can say is I think you should listen to your body!
I also get really odd heart related symptoms when taking too much CoQ10. In fact, taking just 400 mg at once is enough to set me off! I have very little tolerance to it. My heart starts feeling little stabbing pains in it and it will feel really heavy in my chest, and I will be very suseptible to panic attacks.
And YES, I do know for sure that it is the CoQ10 now that is the catalyst for these symptoms, as I have done some experimenting with it. I am curious if it is a die off reaction.
Anyway, I brought in my CoQ10 to my health practitioner and she muscle tested me for it. Without me even telling her any of my experiences with it, she told me that this stuff IS beneficial for me, but that taking more than just two a day is not good for my body. (That's just 100mg a day)
So no matter what dosages people try to tell you to take, LISTEN to your body, because you aren't like anyone else.
