So the common thing I've been seeing is this:
"Make sure you get your system flushed out, or 'moving' again before you start taking psyllium or the P&B Shakes..."
That's all fine and dandy, but what if the 'getting things moving' isn't applicable without psyllium husks, or bulk forming laxatives because the SOURCE of the CONSTIPATION comes from accumulated fecal matter or Mucoid Plaque stuck to the sides of the lower intestinal walls?
Wouldn't it then seem prudent to work someone onto psyllium husks to get a more soft stool? Psyllium husks to help break up the hardened or stuck poo that's causing the constipation?
This seems logical, and I guess I'm just looking for affirmations relating to my own problem, as I have been trying to get things 'moving' for the last two months, and haven't been able to until - ding ding ding - that's right, I started incorporating psyllium husks into my diet of simple fruits and vegetables.
I suppose this may sound strange to some, but it is the only thing that has been working for me, and I can conclude the effectiveness of this logically since the whole idea behind the psyllium husks and the
Bentonite is to help, what...? Break up mucoid plaque?
The using of Psyllium Husks was my last resort, ironically, because it would seem absurd that something like this would help my constipation problem. Well, there ya have it.
