There are three different reactions to
colonics regarding post-first-colonic bowel movements. Ideally, they should improve and this is sometimes the case. Quite often the functioning remains the same and additional colonics, improved hydration and diet, etc. will improve functioning.
When colon functioning declines after a
colonic it is an indication that the bowel muscle is weak and impairing peristalsis so that accumulated waste following the
colonic is not being propelled through the colon fast enough. The key to this is to strengthen the bowel muscle...which can be accomplished with a series of
colonics (particularly alternating warm and cool water), using fiber therapy along with drinking plenty of water and adding more fibrous foods to your diet, and making sure that your overall muscle tone is good by exercising regularly.
