Hi Shelley,
I have recently switched from what I thought was the good, pure, unadulterated
Sea Salt ("Pacific Salt" from New Zealand-solar dried, no additives)because my holistic doc looked at it and said it was 'questionable' because it had been brought to 'fine white grains'. That is, rather than the celtic type being grey and looking less processed. My questions are....
1. Is 'celtic' the only truly good salt?
2. How much of this good salt in our diet is too much?
3. I am craving salt more than usual right now. Nothing has changed as far as my exercise levels etc go-could it be because of my having to exclude sugars and starches at present that affects this and causes an increased desire for salt?(the doc did say that my body was lacking salt-but she said that prior to the dietary changes).
Thanks as always,
Danielle x
