From what I know about liver flushes, I would definately recommend starting them. I don't think you will have much results from just doing one though as our condition is quite chronic. I think for our condition, if you can cope with it, it would be best to do one every 4-6 weeks. Also, from what
Andreas Moritz (Ayurvedic physician on this website) says about this condition, as well as liver and bowel cleansing we also need to change to a more alkaline diet. If you remember in my stool test results, it showed that the ph of my stool was too acidic. I have stopped eating red meat (as this food is highly acid forming). I mostly eat chicken for my protein. Just search on the web for 'acid-forming foods and alkaline foods' as there as plenty of websites which lists which foods are acid-forming and which are alkaline.
Before you start doing a juice detox, I think if you can afford it, do the stool test. This will tell you what specific imbalances you have. For me, since I had abnormally high amounts of yeast, I have gone off all
Sugar and fruit (including fruit juices) as yeast thrive on these foods. If you also prove to have high amounts of yeast, I don't know if high juice intake would be beneficial, although if you take vegetable juices such as carrot, then I guess this would be OK. I take vitamin C tablets and eat loads of steamed veges to make sure I'm not missing out on nutrients/fibre from not eating fruit.
Let me know what you decide about the stool test. I don't mean to put pressure on you, it's totally up to you. For me though, I think its the best money I ever spent, especially considering I spent loads more money on skin specialists.
Take care
