Hi Ya'll,
There is much mis-understanding about colds and what causes them and how to get rid of them!
A cold may be caused when the body becomes too acidic and when the amount of sodium is not enough in ratio to the amount of Potassium, thus allowing the body cell structure to not be able to retain it's moisture in enough of a quanity for the climate in which you live in!
There are several ways in which the body may become too acidic!
#1 Poor Diet of JUNK foods and or improper foods for the season, which may not supply your body with the proper amount of Alkaline Minerals it needs to produce the Electrical Energy Release for the body!
#2 Poor Mental Attitude may also make your body too acidic!
#3 Poor environment may also make your body too acidic!
When we consider the #1 reason of poor Diet, then we need to understand what it is about it which may cause this to be so , so as to avoid this problem, if we wish to stay Healthy!
First, when you eat foods which may cause your body to become too Acidic, you are just asking for trouble!!
So it may be something which some of you may want to consider and get some pH tape and start learning what foods may make your body to become too Acidic!
As to the sodium to potassium ratios and this causing problems if it is incorrect, it may be of interest to some of you to start learning which foods contain high amounts of Potassium and which foods may contain high amounts of sodium!
Now to the old subject about Vit C and all it's glory or not!
Vit C is an Acid and it may not work as grand as some may get results "IF" the body does not have any Alkaline Mineral Reserves for it to react against!!
For when the Vit C does help, is when it is able to react against some form of sodium and cause it to be Electrically Released in great enough quanities to Balance out the Sodium to Potassium ratios and this in turn may cause a rise in the pH in the body!!
So not all may be as it may first seem to be, and you may be giving the Vit C more glory than it should have by it's self, for it is only part of the overall equation!!
Smile Tis your choice.
