You're not the only one that finds his book confusing. Most people get aggravated reading it and leafing through it, as it's pretty jumbled/disorganised, even though there is a wealth of information in there. It's obvious he has a scientific mind, but I believe one can get a little "too" scientific, and forget that you can overload a very weak/toxic body on too many suggestions.
I also agree with whoever mentioned his doses. YES, I believe they are far too high for most people who are too toxic and weak. He KNOWS this too,he's had enough experience now to see on the forums that are using his protocol, that most people on there cannot start on his chelation doses that he recommends.
He says to start on 50 mg of DMSA (the every four hour way). Some have to start as low as 6 mg. BIG DIFFERENCE. When people feel as though they have to be on this dose, they can really get ill for a very long time, if they shift far too much metal/toxins through that their body is unable to keep up with.
I agree also that all his suggestions on taking this and taking that whilst you chelate is often confusing and overwhelming. Not sure how that can do much good to a body, what about the liver, gut and kidenys that have to deal with all that? Chelation is hard enough on its own. But again, I guess he is trying to give every possible avenue for whatever problem a person is having and what might help/work for them as they detox the mercury.
I do think his chelation protocol is good. I believe it's helped many people, as I belong to two forums devoted to his protocol alone and certainly it would seem its far more tolerated than most and more effective, without too high a risk of mercury redistribution. He has managed to cut that down with his protocl as much as possible, which causes less mobilisation of mercury and more steady removal instead. Howver, there are always going to be people who will react badly no matter what they do. The more poisoned a person is, the more side effects, even sometimes on his.
Those that often criticise and put down him and his protocol are often people who don't know him, haven't even read his book, haven't even tried the protocol and are simply jealous of his success with a wide range of mercury toxic people, and are trying to steer people instead in their direction and away from him. They like to call him some guru and that he has a "cult following" This is another way of saying "I cannot stand the fact that he's this successful and the people who follow him do so because they are getting results".
So just be warned. I'm not saying everybody handles his protocol and I listen to fellow-sufferers who have tried it, I do not listen to those with an agenda to deliberately put him down and malign him.
