I need to make 100% pure aloe vera juice (no additives whatsoever) injectable? Can anyone tell me how to do this? Do I just need to make sure that the juice has a salt content of 0.9%? Or do I need to add something else? This is for subcutaneous and intraperitoneal injection only.

This is a reply to # 362,919I know it sounds off the wall, however this is for my dog. The vet is currently using Carravet Acemannan Immunostimulant Injection - it's a powder containing 20 mg Acemannan (Aloe Vera) which is dissolved in 20 ml of distilled water (/w 0.9% salt).
I was checking to see whether there's an alternative and my ex-boss in Germany knows someone who gets the 100% pure Aloe Vera Juice injected, however it is made injectable locally. We need to find out how to make it injectable. Thus my question. We have already asked the lady to give us the formula, however her doctor might not give up the information for fear of losing her as a patient. That is why I am also asking on this forum. Additionally I am checking with my MD friend.
Anyway, I would try it on myself in a small amount before doing anything to Lucky. I always check all medications she gets on myself to make sure that they do not do harm and to get a feel for the reaction she might be going through.
Reason I want to get away from the Acemannan Immunostimulant that my vet gives Lucky is that it is so darned expensive and I will need to continue long term with this.

My highest interest is the health and excellent quality of life for my dog Lucky! So far we have been quite successful. It's been 3 1/2 months since the cancer diagnosis and the vet said she wouldn't make it past 2 months.
Thanks for the concern, I really do appreciate it, as sometimes people do things without thinking and are then shocked by the result.

Here's something else for you to consider: echinacea.
I do know that aloe is an immune stimulant, but echinacea is MANY times more 'stimulating' to the immune system than aloe
Echinacea is used (which great success) throughout the alternative veterinary world as a cure for cancer...it's inexpensive and doesn't have to be injected :)

This is a reply to # 362,930Thank you for your reply. I am a bit hesitant to stop with something that I have seen work. It's always a question if something else will work as well or wether there will be a turn for the worse.
It's a matter of weighing risk against potential benefit - and that is what makes all of this so incredibly hard. Lucky has been on Acemannan for almost three months now and she is the picture of health and every change I do is a risk. Plus I do firmly believe that tablet/capsule form is a lot less potent than a liquid, especially one injected into the tumor sites and into the body cavity, especially formulated for cancer patient.

This is a reply to # 362,934I'm glad to here your Lucky is doing so well on the current regime...that's great! I didn't mean to imply you were doing anything wrong, or that you should change treatments (especially not if things are going smoothly).
Echinacea is a powerful immune system booster and can be used along with aloe. Both humans and animals have been cured of cancer by taking capsules (or tincture, which I much prefer) of echinacea.
I just wanted to let you know that there was something else you could consider as an addition to your current treatment and protocol.

This is a reply to # 362,931Thank you, I hadn't seen this product. I was very focussed on veterinary products from Carrington Laboraties. Unfortunately it says very little about the actual ingredients. I will google it - their injections cost $200 a piece, so this product must (?) be a lot less potent? NOt sure on that one. I will check into it.
