Hi,
I have had hyperthyroid since last year, and my doctor suggests me to nuke/remove the thyroid gland. I have asked several people who had this procedure done, but they all said they regret that they'd done that. I wonder if there is any other alternatives or natural ways to cure the disease without nuking my thyroid gland.

Though mine was simply not working ZERO - I told my Dr. I did not want to take any Thyroid meds. He said I could wait and do my thing and get re-tested.
Did Dr. Hulda Clark 's liver cleanse () went back and tests were 100% normal (!!)
surprised me.
Please note that mine was Hypothyroid, not hyper - if you do try - please post an update.
Also important: lots of water.
I personally feel my thyroid was affected by using diet Sugar (had never before and used for about one year and my thyroid stopped working - could be coincidental.)

I am in the process of cleansing for my hypo thyroid condition. My biggest symptom is low body temp always cold. I used ALOT of diet sugars in the past. Maybe that's what was part of this problem. I know they are really toxic...I am 100% raw vegan now and I love the path I am on!Haven't retested but have done a liver cleanse and flush...Thanks you gave me encouragment to keep going....- Re: Cleansing is one alternative - Y... #38976

I regained the weight I lost during that year of "bad dieting" but feel 100% better.
Now trying to eat more natural foods, and exercise more...

This is a reply to # 358,361Well today I am really cleansing or sick...feverish my basal temp this am was 97.2 which is where I would like to be but I have aquired alot of congestion and go back and forth from feverish to chills. My liver is starting to feel alittle achy. I am going to lay low today. Continue to do my thyroid pack,coffee enema,detox bath and juice...and see what happens. I am also going to focus on the emotional level about letting go of attatchments- the have tos... It just feels right. Would really like to hear ideas or from anyone that experiences low body temp...
