I read somewhere recently that if left completely alone, the body will detox. If the body doesn't detox, we die. The important thing is to get all of your eliminative organs working properly so that when your body detoxes, the toxins get expelled instead of reabsorbed.

Many people want to get the toxins out faster. That's where detox programs come in. The problem comes again with the eliminative organs. If a substance is detoxed, but gets all jammed up in the eliminative organs, it can't get expelled, so it gets reabsorbed, and the detox was useless. You must never detox more quickly than what your body can handle.

Others will no doubt have experience and or an opinion in answering your question; mine is - maybe.

Just to be sure we are on the 'same page of the play book', when people on this forum say that they are "de-toxing", what they generally mean is that they are intentionally taking steps to assist and help their body in it's constant detox process.

One thing to be aware of regarding the term "detox" - your body is, by it's natural design, constantly trying to detox itself/yourself regardless of whether you are actually taking steps to help it, like cleansing / flushing. Another thing to be aware of, most of us have been conditioned over our lifetime's to routinely take steps, often unknowingly, to hinder the body's natural healing capabilities. For example, short of living in a bubble, if you breath, and drink, and eat from the same public supply of air, food and water that most others do, you have and are continuing to be contaminated in numerous and mostly invisible ways, all of which have an impact - sometimes visible, many times not - on your overall health.

There are many who've posted at various places on CureZone that once all Amalgams have been removed, the human body, if left to it's own devices, will eventually, gradually, remove (detox)itself of substances like mercury. If one then supplements these natural processes with the effort of Chelation, the resultant speed / rate which the body detoxes itself is improved, although it is somewhat of a debate as to how much it's improvied but I've seen consistent posts that Chelation may increase the rate anywhere from 5% to 15%, give or take. There is another unspoken here, this being, the healthier one is to begin with, the easier it is for their body to gradually remove and expel whatever toxins it may contain. This is a principal reason why many of us are here sharing on the forums, learning, questioniong, and posting of the beneficial experiences as well as potential hazards in the wide and increasing spectrum of natural drug-free homeopathic health methods.
However, no matter how good one believes their health and habits are, as long as big corporate government and all it's shady manifestations in commerce, medicine, education and law are in authority, there is virtually no escaping the aforementioned environmental exposures remain an everpresent influence on one's health.

So to answer your question, now that your Amalgams are all removed, if you do nothing else, will your body eventually clean itself? Best answer is probably somewhere between maybe / proably, the actual degree to which you may experience this dependent on your current and total condition of health.

Did you do any detox or take any supplement during/just after
amalgam removal? Did you feel sick after the removal?
I am also planning to let the body detox naturally.
Just wondering if the mercury released during the
procedure will make you sick and will require some sort
of detoxing.

From what I understand, when the mercury crosses the brain barrier as methyl mercury (100 times more toxic than mercury) and then turns back to mercury, that the brain barrier holds it in, and that is why we see conditions like Alzheimer and parkasins, the brain cannot detox itself except if you fast, I would say your condition stems from the brain.

I have heard of people recovering from Alzheimer using MSM and taking hot sweat baths with something in the water (they used bleach) to cling on to the toxins when excreted so they do not reabsorb, in this case recovery was fast!

To take an effective sweat bath you must work up a good sweat, to do this I drink 1-2 cups of the hottest yarrow tea I can stand as recommenced by Dr. Christopher in "The school of natural healing" and bath in the hottest water I can stand for 1 hour. By this time I am sweating really good! I would use apple cider vinegar or Epsom Salts in the bath if desired, to hold onto the excretions.

The infra red saunas are wonderful for this. As said by another poster they penetrate upto 2 inches deep and pull out toxins deep in the tissues.

A normal sauna does not work the same and although the Christian Science people use them for there drug detox program, they have people stay in it for upto 6 hours (according to there book) for the same effect.
As apposed to a normal sauna the heat is gentle, when I am in my IRS I do not feel the hot overwhelming feeling of a normal sauna, and all of a sudden I am surprised that I am sweating so much as I do not feel very hot, the key is the sweating!!!!!!

your condition may aslo be a acid body problem, fasting is said to drain all the acid as well as years of stored chemicals and diseases from the body. This fast is the most effective one I could find as well as being very safe as apposed to water fasting, it gives the body the things it needs to rebuild.

A big plus I have only been on the fast 5/24 hour days and have lost 9 pounds!

According to Cutler, the body can not pull mercury out of the brain on its own. Sweating and general detox may get rid of much of the body's mercury, but it will still be in your brain unless you take ALA according to his protocol.
