Hi Leslie, I hope you keep us informed on what happens.
I didn't know I had any symptoms. I just went to have my gallbladder out after having attacks every day for months, in spite of doing many liver/galbladder cleanses and flushes, both Dr. Clarke's and
Dr. Schulze 's (and 2 for kidney), and the surgeon noticed a lump - and said "what is that!?". I had an ultrasound and the nurse said the same thing, as did the neurologist she brought in to look. I had a fine needle biopsy that bounced off the tumor and took a chunk of muscle because the thyroid had calcified with the cancer and the Dr. said it was hard as a rock. It was a CT scan that showed it was definitely cancer that had spread beyond the thyroid.
The endocrinologist has been very interested in whether I had problems swallowing - that can be related to thyroid problems. All of my problems have been with the left side of my neck - the whole thyroid was involved, and they removed 8 lymph nodes then a scan showed the cancer had spread to other ones. I've made carrot/beet/cucumber juice for 15 years, and try to eat mostly organic raw foods. I'm still doing that - and I've added kale/romaine lettuce/celery to the juice. It was only after they removed my thyroid and I started on Synthroid that I realized how tired I'd been. I know this is a cancer alternatives forum, and I do believe that the alternatives I'm doing are making a difference - I just got scared when they said the word Cancer and felt that I had to have my thyroid out. That was the right way to go for me.
I think what has made the most difference for me is ozone. I'm ozonating six 24-oz glasses of water a day (2 first thing, 2 mid-morning and 2 mid-afternoon - on an empty stomach), with distilled water I make from our well water. I can't believe how much more energy I have, after only a few weeks. I've been doing lots of reading about it on curezone's oxygen forum.
Good luck and I hope everything will work out well! I believe that we are born with lessons we've set out to learn, and having cancer for me was to teach me how to be a healer - I'm now a 2nd level Reiki master, and I've read at least dozen books on spiritual healing. This experience has also taught me to live in the present moment and let go of the past.
