Hepaguard Forte is really good, my nutritionist recommended to me, she treats me with alot of biocare's products, they're very good. I had sharp pains in my liver when I first started taking it, so I think I needed it!! My nutritionist is going to do a liver cleanse for me, but I have to wait as I'm on lots of supplements right now - for hypothyroid and adrenal fatigue. I can't wait to get my liver treated!! I think it'll make me feel lots better.
I can't take livatone Plus as it contains soya which makes me swell up because of my thyroid! I've heard a lot of good things about it though. I tend to stick with what my nutritionist recommends.
Are you in the Uk? I am, how much do you pay for colonics? I payed about £60 for mine if I can remember.
Does your candida stop you from functioning 'normally', like working etc? I haven't worked for quite a few years because of my health. My illnesses are all stress related.
I have just finished the candida diet, I'm still taking probiotics and l-glutamine. I did take something called Permavite by Allergy Care for leaky gut. It was really good but expensive, so I've just switched to l-glutamine. I hope it works as well. The Permavite is from nutricentre, it's about £30, check out the ingredients to see if you think it might help you.
I'm not sure if my candida has completely gone, but I can't bear to go on the diet again!! I have a slight case of gas again, which I had really bad before the diet. It's not bad now, I'm not sure if it's candida left or because of leaky gut. All my other candida symptoms have gone though: thrush, bloating, ear infections, feel damp inside especially when it's raining - that was really bad and I assume because I don't have that symptom anymore, that the candida's gone. I still have post nasal drip though - clogged sinuses. I'm not sure how to treat that one.
Thanks for the links, I'm going to take a look.
Sorry for rambling on !!
