you play you pay. bad idea. trust me. i went and off the diet in between the holidays and it set me back big time! it is not worth it. just get it out of your system while you can. i chose to learn the hard way and i am paying for it now. if you are in the early stages you want to attack attack ATTACK! the more you cheat the worse it gets and the harder it is to get rid of it.
the beginning of the diet i was less strict than i am now and i am realizing all that it does is suppress symptoms, it does not kill it. you should really stay away from ALL grains and breads, ALL fruit except lemons/limes, anything with sugar, ALL Dairy, etc. stick to low carb veggies and organic chicken and wild salmon. i think red meat, even organic, still may have some hormones in it. not sure...you would have to check on that but most on here do not eat red meat even if it is organic. you can also have organic eggs for breakfast. If you don't have severe candida you will be able to slowy start introducing other foods back into your diet.
also you MUST get on some antifungals and rotate them. caprylic acid, oil of oregano,
Grapefruit-Seed-Extract - grapefruit seed extract, garlic, pau d'arco, etc. there are other herbs and spices that are natural antifungals as well that you should try to throw in foods...cinnamon, cayenne pepper, etc.
detoxing - if you are accustomed to taking baths, then throw some
Sea Salt s in the bath mixed with some
Epsom Salts and baking soda.
increase your goods fats - lots of olive oil on foods, salads, etc. flax seed oil, coconut oil...
take a good probiotic to restore the good bacteria.
take vitamins.
make sure to take probiotics several hours away from the antifungals.
i am sure others will give more advice to you.
BEAT IT DOWN EARLY WHILE YOU STILL CAN!! that is the best advice i can possibly give you.
