i have been dealing with unknown parasites for several years now. they don't seem to want to kill me so maybe they are commensal? they are extremely weird & embarrassing to talk to anyone about but i am afraid of passing them on to anyone. i can't seem to find their description here though ive been reading this forum on & off for a yr or two.
the short of it. along my spine on the skin are small pustules that itch. these things live where ever there is hair on my body & make these pustules. something comes out of these pustules when i am lying still for about 20 minutes (sleeping). they go into my eyes, nose, ears, it is like a small thread tickling me when i am awake. there are larger parasites as well. they live in my lower legs & migrate up to my midsection when i sleep. i used to think they were on the outside because it feels like something crawling up the leg but now i know they hide in my body & get around very easily like thin worms.i saw a dermatologist several yrs back. he gave me ivermectin internally & externally. when it din't work he said :shrink.i was surprised nothing worked on these things. they do hate the electric current of the hulda clark zapper which i put in my midsection region when i am sleeping because larger parasites plague me when i'm sleeping. but basically i would have to run the current throughout my entire body to kill them & the zapper runs on a very mild current.i have animals. i had a mouse problem. i have birds. the problem started one hot summer when i was wearing light clothes while sleeping.once i saw a kind of fly running around my skin. it might have been a may fly(?) this was not a regular fly. it seemed to have come out of my skin.i can't wait to take a shower in the morning. my skin needs to be scrubbed & my face washed, etc. i have taken baths in bleach, used tea tree oil (they don't like it). i have used diatamaceuos earth for months. i have rubbed silver cream on the lesions, coconut oil, castor oil, flea spray. whatever i put on my skin doesn't bother them except for tea tree oil but it doesn't kill them. at a certain time they start to move around in my hair (usually late in the evening).can anyone identify these extremely hardy parasites? lately i've felt pain maybe in my liver & worry that they are moving into vital organs. i've tried parasite cleanses. nothing changed. i am tired of these things living off of me but i know i need to identify them first. please tell me what you think these things are.

This is a reply to # 2,410,552another photo montage i posted that may be related - my infection started like your three years ago on legs - Getting yours ID'd asap a good thing.
...seems that getting treatment asap to knock it out (assuming it is a parasite) prevents spreading/entrenching.
User "ICU" has possible related "cures" as does "sharkman" the only person I have found actually cured themself on here...getting a doc to scrap or biopsy your postules AND be open minded about "possibility" this is parasite a huge fortunate occurrence.

This is a reply to # 2,410,553based on my experience and that of others, I recommend NOT approaching a physician mentioning you believe this is a parasitic infection nor bring any photos or forum opinions etc with you. Instead, simply ask for a scraping to eliminate the "unlikely" possibility of parasites (like scabies) a much wiser approach. It may not be parasitic but if it is, IF you show concern for this, there is a tendency towards physicians dismissing your thinking or worse identifying you as delusional - an unfortunate common diagnosis supported by numerous other physicians and published research studies. Very little supporting documentation for parasitic infections in USA (interestingly there is plentiful such research supporting parasitic infections in animals by vets - since animals cannot be "delusional", no recourse but to find out the actual cause)

This is a reply to # 2,410,545sorry for not expanding your message - i see the full history now - you are already aware of the typical physician response - maybe start over with new doctor with aforementioned approach - might be worth a try to get a scraping and id whats going on. need a doc that looks thru the scope themselves with no agenda

This is a reply to # 2,410,545Hard to say from description / if it is indeed a "bug" you'll need to use mostly different chems than for a worm (flat versus round makes a difference.
You coukd try Ivermectin a broad spectrum anti-parisitic drug this is used as part of many treatments.
Permethrin topical used for insect, hexapod and mites - most are resistant to it though - at least at 5% strentgh.
Getting an ID is important and the step that most have the hardest with because most doctors dismiss patients thinking they have parasites...

This is a reply to # 2,410,865Ivermectin paste 1.87% (internal per weight OR external/topical application - note though that absorption rate when using paste topically is unknown - but it has helped me), or pour-on ivermectin (NOT for internal use). Both available at "farm stores" like Tractor Supply or online at several vet suppliers for animal meds that don't require prescriptions.
CZ users ICU and Sharkman have a lot more detailed accurate dosage info
