Epsom salts causing bowel movements ...

I am doing my 21st Liver Flush tonight. In the last 3-4 flushes, I had 2 watery bowel movements after drinking the Epsom Salt at 6 PM and 8 PM, but before drinking the juice-oil mix at 10 PM. I also had a bowel movement or two an hour or two after drinking the mix. I am assuming this is the effect of the Epsom Salts . The next day, after two more doses of epsom salt, I had 6-8 bowel movements.
Since these bowel movements on the evening of the flush were interfering with my sleep, and also because I was concerned if they may affect the flush, I reduced the Epsom Salt dose from 1 tablespoon in 200 ml water, which is approximately what Andreas Moritz recommends, to 3/4th of a tablespoon. Doing this reduced my bowel movements in the evening of the flush to only one, but it also gave me lesser bowel movements the next day - 4-6 instead of the usual 6-8.
Is it necessarily a problem for the flush if I have bowel movements on the evening of the flush itself, rather than only on the next morning? Logically, I don't see why this should be a problem, because the flush is focused on pushing out the stagnant bile and stones in the liver and gallbladder, while the bowel movement occurs in the colon.
If I reduce the Epsom Salt dosage to 3/4th of a tablespoon each time - as some others on this forum seem to have done also - does that reduce the efficacy of the flush? I am concerned that this may be dilating the bile ducts less, and also that I may not expel all the stones if I only have 4-6 bowel movements the next day.
Some more information -
To clean my bowels, I take two enemas on the day of the flush, that is day 6, and two on day 8. I do not take any on day 7 because my bowels still seem sensitive to any stimulation and I don't feel I would be able to hold the enema. The two enemas are a 2 quart saline water enema followed by a 2 quart enema of saline water with the juice of 3 lemons.
I don't think my bowels are completely empty after this, but I am not sure what would make them completely empty. More than 2 enemas consecutively seems to be tiring and possibly has a drying out effect on the colon.

You should find the dose hat feels good for you !
The original recipe is just a start ... once you have it, you can tweak the recipe the best it feels for you.
Listen to your body.
The main advantage of a large dose of Epsom Salt is that it flushes all potentially toxic bile and sludge and stones from your intestines, so you avoid re-absorbing it back into the system.
Normally, when not flushing, our intestines re-absorb up to 30% of all excreted bile back into the liver.
During the liver flush, we don't want anything being re-absorbed, so we want it very fast out.
Fast out is made possible by epsom salt.
You should take the smallest possible amount of Epsom Salt, which is still sufficient to flush all bile and stones from your intestines.
Smallest possible amount of Epsom Salt for me and for you may be a different amount. I may need double as much as you.
This amount may change with time ... as your intestines become more sensitive to Epsom Salts .

Ha! Sort of, yes. Writing down my situation makes me think more clearly about it.
Thank you for your answers. This resonates with me - tweaking the recipe according to what my body says.
I am curious - why do the intestines become more sensitive to ES over time?
I should start another thread about this, but perhaps I can ask you here. I'm on my 21st flush tonight and I am not sure how many more I should do. Logically, I know I am cleaning out my liver, colon, and kidneys, if I do a kidney cleanse between every 4 flushes. But I also know that I don't feel any better since I started flushing 2 years ago. How does one decide whether this is the way to go or not? How many flushes have you done, and how do you gauge whether they are helping you or not?

This is a reply to # 2,395,094I've been flushing and its now 2 years. I used to do the enema the day of the flush and salts have not been an issue with pooing on the same day. On my last flushes tho I did have bowel movements cause of the epson salts and tbh I think its great cause I do not see a reason to do enema when I already pooped it all.
I do not know what condition is affecting you. In my case I have seen improvement but I am not healed 100% but I can say is that now I can eat pizzas and fatty food no problem, whereas before I simply could not eat fatty food anymore cause my liver would give me pains! I feel so much better in that regard and it is right after the flush that I feel better the most cause right after the flushes I do can feel a relief like I do not have something stuck anymore.
About how long you should keep flushing, its said till no stones comes out. I am on the same boat as you as I have done similar number of flushes and I still pass stones. I have to say tho that each flush the amount, size and color of the stones were not the same. And only in one of my flushes I vomit the oil, all the rest have been no problem.- Re: take the smallest possible amoun... iandthou

This is a reply to # 2,395,193Thanks Sieka. I started flushing because I had stiffness in the muscles around my eyes (then diagnosed as convergence insufficiency), lower back pain, and premature grey hair and hair loss (I'm 32, male).
I don't see any change in these. I realised that the eye problem and the back pain are both because of a scoliosis in my spine, which is something I was most probably born with, and most probably it is connected to a larger connective tissue disorder. So I don't think the Liver Flush will cure that, although it may help the muscles that are strained by the spine remain free of toxins and less inflamed.
I haven't seen any change in my hair.
There is a facebook forum for the Liver Flush where there are people who have done over a hundred flushes, over many years, and are in very good health. A friend of mine is on her 40-something liver flush. Andreas first recommended 10 flushes or so to be enough, and later changed that to upto 25. I highly doubt I will be in great health by 25.
I also live in a city that is among the most polluted in the world, as far as the air goes, so I think I have a large dose of toxins entering the body that I need to struggle with on an ongoing basis, perhaps all my life, if I continue living here. So at present, I plan to keep flushing indefinitely.

This is a reply to # 2,395,305Yea, stones from the liver and kidney can produce scoliosis but are not necessairly the cause. I would work on stretching, yoga, (tai-chi may also bee a good idea) and making sure sit with good posture on an ergonomic chair with lumbar support and not stay inactive for long periods. And also meditation, that will give you relif on muscles specially the eyes. I experience sore muscles from time to time too and massaging them and applying pressure with my fingers does the trick, there are excercises for the muscles around the eyes too, I learned in yoga.
100 flushes are to much although I do not plan to stop doing it till im stones free I gotta say its kind of dissapoining taking in fact that I was expecting to do 6 flushes only. Although the other day I knew of someone who died out of cirrosis and she was not a drinker, I did not know her otherwise id have told her to flush so I think it is better to flush 100 times than to die.
Grey hair is something we all get to have but I think that it is most common on people with nutritional defficiencies and those who live on high stress (the world we live today is highly stressing, even if you only watch tv, tv makes the brain process so many images, theres studies on this too) so again, meditation.
