Browbie - As I said in a previous post, I do not think lanosterol or other sterols will have any impact at all on lens crystallins which are shackled to AGEs. But I found a paper from 2008 which almost proves for sure that an AGE-breaker eyedrop will reverse cataracts due to glycated crystallin - which means most senile cataracts. It is the most compelling evidence yet that cataracts can be cured worldwide without surgery:

Here, they used an AGE-breaker called "thiazolium bromide".
It was able to restore the chaperone activity of alpha-crystallin which had been lost due to glycation by AGEs such as imidazolone, a brown pigment which gives the cataractous lens a brunescent color. Needless to say, nothing has been done with this or any other AGE-breaker since this successful work in 2008. Nor probably will anything ever be done with it, leaving cataract patients the usual ultimatum of having the surgery or losing their sight.
To all cataract sufferers everywhere who want to keep their natural lens and its natural focusing power rather than having it destroyed by cataract surgery!
I would like to suggest that everybody reading this post contact the authors of the following paper from 2008, 10 years ago, which proved, at least in vitro, that AGE-related cataracts can be reversed by an eyedrop containing an AGE-breaker:

Show them we are not satisfied with being forced into surgery when discoveries like this go untapped.
From the FAQ on Lanomax:
Can brown cataracts be treated?
Nuclear cataracts change the nucleus in the center of the lens to yellow or brown. Lanomax® has been shown to have a therapeutic effect on nuclear cataracts.
Effectively, this is saying that brown cataracts CAN be treated with Lanomax. However, by the time the nucleus has turned brown, the cataract will be hypermature. From the same FAQ:
However, it is unlikely to provide dramatic treatment effects in a short time if the cataract is in a hyper-mature state.
Now I was unaware that dogs get yellow or brown cataracts like we do, no, the Internet says "unlike human cataracts, dog cataracts are white". But Lanomax seems to think that, nevertheless, yes, yellow and brown cataracts can still be treated by Lanomax. Were they thinking of we humans after all??!! But if they are hypermature, it will take a long time. Hell, in view of what they said...I think I will give it a serious try this time.
Although I still think we need an AGE-breaker eye drop.Browbie -
In your previous post, you said you had all colors of cataract, and that you had nuclear cataract too...
And nevertheless you got an improvement of 9/200 to 16/200 in, what, 3 months? Again, how many bottles of Lanomax have you used?
You seem to have had a tangible improvement, and with longer dosage time, maybe you could do even better...
Since it seems that even with long-standing cataracts, real improvements are possible...this is good news for all of us...
Small but tangible and measurable improvements...I am impressed and delighted.
I will certainly restart.
