"This afternoon I took in stool samples from myself that contained odd looking segments. I kept some and saved in ethyl alcohol. They look like weird corn."
Are you able to take photos of those odd looking segments and share it with us ?
Without photos, we can only imagine what it could be.
"My son is having constipation and when he does poop, small yellow/white balls."
This could be a sign of dysbiosis, or an odd diet.
What does he eats ?
Any
Sugar in his diet ?
Any white bread?
Cheese ?
Pizza?
Milk ?
white bread and white cheese can sometimes give small yellow/white balls, if there is not enough bile in the intestines.
Milk can also give small yellow/white balls.
If he drinks a lot of milk, it can turn into a cheese in his intestines, and out comes small yellow/white balls.
Generally a sign of dysbiosis or an odd, narrow diet.
"My 5 month old has had consistently green, mucousy diapers."
This is a strong sign of dysbiosis.
Green is the color of bile, when it comes out from the liver.
Intestinal bacteria is suppose to turn that color into brown, or yellow brown, the color of healthy feces.
Take a syringe and squeeze some live yogurt mixed with water into the rectum of your baby.
Repeat it if needed, until the feces changes color to normal.
"Both kids are chewing like crazy and itching their noses."
This is a common sign of allergy.
They may be allergic to something in their environment, or to some food.
parasites may be the underlying cause of all of those problems, but there are several others equally valid explanations.
have you ever taken
Antibiotics in your life?
How often, how many ?
What about your kids ?
Are they breast fed or formula?
Natural birth or c-section?
