Hi,
I've had a very rough week with self-treatment. Thank you to everyone who has offered advice, support and sympathy.
I would appreciate help identifying a creature that turned up after a distilled water cleansing enema yesterday evening. Here are two images I took with my cellphone.
Here's an update for those that are curious. I've been self treating with ivermectin and melbenzadone for two weeks with mixed results. I feel I've killed off a lot of
parasite from what I've seen in my stools. However, the area around my eyes, after much improvement, grew worse over the last three days and has spread to my cheek and my bottom lip where I now have painful open sores.
I think I should switch to albendazole and ivermectine. Advice welcome.

I've been struggling to get a referral to a tropical medicine clinic, which seemed to be about to happen. After my last visit with my doctor, he did more blood work and he later messaged me the detailed results (which I have no understanding of) with a note the he didn't see any of the typical indicators of a
parasite infestation. I suspect he may have decided not to refer me, either that or it is taking a lot longer than I'd expected.
In the meantime, I'm miserable. At one point, little wile worms came out of my left yet for few hours, which was sickening. I'm feeling really discouraged. I'm not good at this sort of thing but I'm trying to figure it out as best as I can. Im an excellent researcher but the worst at diagnosing anything.
Additionally, I almost feel I'm to the point of almost being disabled and unable to work. Mainly because this condition is affecting my eyes. If my GP doesn't follow through with the promised referral I intend to go back to the last dermatologist I visited and ask about low dose chemotherapy, which he suggested as an alternative if the standard creams he prescribed didn't work. The dermatologist was dismissive and diagnosed me with rurigo nodularis and lichen simplex. There was no mention whatsoever that
parasites could be involved and I didn't bring it up for hear of him writing DP on my chart.
Oh an one other thing, this last week I developed a horrible cough. This has happened before and my GP, who has been willing to do all sort of tests, did a scan of my lungs which he said looked clear. I know nothing about reading xrays, but it didn't look clear to me.
Thanks for listening.
