So, my PMDD is really bad and seems to keep getting worse. For the past 6-8 months, I have been getting extremely depressed for the two weeks before my period (and feeling like myself for a week after my period ends), extremely angry/irritable/aggresive and taking things out on my partner, very emotional and crying and literally thinking it's the end of the world, plus bloating that keeps geting worse, and severe pain. I never used to get period cramps until the past 3 months, and now they're so severe that I take different painkillers (plus cramp bark, magnesium, CBD oil), and they're still there!
I tried out Vitex last month, but it gave me SEVERE chest pain and palpitations for a week, which ceased when I stopped taking it. I was taking 800mg a day. I'm now quite desperate again, and I'm thinking of trying it out from a different brand, and using a tincture and maybe only 200mg/day? Has anyone had any success this way?
For the last month, I've started taking B6, zinc, magnesium, and maca. I also take a good multivitamin, fish oil, etc...I do have many other symptoms, so I am planning on doing some cleanses soon (candida, parasite, liver, etc). I also take magnesium flake and Epsom Salt
baths now. Perhaps the mag, zing and B6 can help? However, it's getting worse and worse with each month and I need an urgent solution! I guess stress makes it worse, but my behaviour during my PMDD times, makes my relationship with my partner v difficult and creates even more stress...we can't even get around to going to the gym, meditating, etc...
