It (lactoferrin) is naturally manufactured by the body to act as an antimicrobial and destroy the biofilm environment. Lyzozyme is another good one.
Ok thanks for clarifying that, so it must be detoxification. I use different things such as bulk charcoal to bind the toxins and eliminate them. Clays can do the same thing (bentonite and pascalite). I also like zeolite, that has always done me good.
I think it is important to keep the liver open meaning some supplements to help drain the liver such as a milk thistle blend. Stretching, body movement should help mobilize as well. I am sure you are drinking adequate water. People with infections are likely to have congested livers and with congestion then recirculation of toxins occurs. B vitamins and sulfur containing amino acids promote methylation which should help the liver. Your doctor can test your methylation.
I saw on one of your previous posts about mag problems. Sodium, potassium and magnesium work together and if one of those is low then others will be affected. Calcium to a lesser extent. If you are craving sodium then this is a sign of adrenal fatigue or possibly adrenal exhaustion. The adrenals work with the immune system and if they are weakened then likely it is due to an accumulation of toxins but I would consider some type of immune reaction to some pathogen.
