Hey thanks for posting that. I was thinking about trying DE for my fungus but now on longer.

All the veterinarian studies also indicated the same thing... It does not work!
Tried on Bison.. also more references.

It does works good in the garden to help control pests, worms that eat the leaves and cut worms, in the top soil.

Interesting. I have always had success with DE. Could it perhaps be the diatomic structure itself kills parasites, but the silica mineral feeds it? It seems counterintuitive to think a mineral as healthy and important as silica would feed parasites (considering they usually ingest unhealthy compounds/sugars/ preservatives /artifical flavorings etc.).

I think it would be unfair to extrapolate the effects of silica on ameobas to the effect of diatomaceous earth on nematods and cestodes.

DE is not silica.
Ameobas are microscopic.

Ameobas are way too small to eat DE.

So what kind of DE are we talking about?
The old garden type DE (course ground unrefined) or food grade DE (very fine grind)? There is some speculation that all the DE (food grade)for sale comes from remanufacturing DE, from the brewing industry where it is used for filtering.
I have taken the garden variety DE, it worked! Hard to find anymore.
The food grade is different, just plugged me up at as small a dose as 2 capsules.
I tried it 4 different times..so..same results. I might be a slow learner, or a good researcher.

I have read the book, tenable yes, probable no.
There are a couple of transmutations discovered by Science to date.
We do not know all that happens inside any biological system.
Is Science influenced by business, YES. Who makes the claims!
What are they selling.
Is every Science experiment a stand alone, even if repeatable, NO.
Because it worked for me does not mean it will work for you. Quantum!!!
