Generally you take enzymes designed to break down what you have chosen to eat.
I used these:
Super enzymes by now foods when eating a fatty meal
AFP-pep by houstonni enzymes for a protien-rich meal
no-fenol for fiber-rich fruits and veg
zyme prime for carb-rich meals
I tried jarrow's cold-extracted pancreatin, but the high amylase content gave me nausea
Candex is what I used initially to break down the biofilms that typically give the bloating and gas, it has to be started slowly from 1/8th of a capsule to avoid herx reactions.
Typically on enzymes you wanna use them both as prolyotic (taken without food) and digestives (taken with food).
Enzymes are a rather expensive therapy, particularly if you buy the houstonni and candex varieties.
Bowel/
parasite cleansing and then
Liver Flushing with a veg/fruit rich diet is the way to get your body producing enzymes and digesting properly again.

Maximizing your stomach acid will straighten up many digestive issues. supplementing enzymes does /not/ correct issues producing stomach acid, and upping the nutrients listed in the above article can indeed help right other issues in the body. I first started feeling more energy and less issues with digesting foods that way.
