Sup everybody and God bless.
I am 26 year old paraplegic, and have been fasting for the past 11 days. Had nothing but water, and juices i bought from juice spots, and coconut water from the store.
I am on day 11, was going to stop on day 14(Sunday), but i think the Lord is challenging me to got to day 30.
I feel fine, and not hungry at all. I have painful aches and sore lumps in my arms and hands which come and go. I have not been exercising at all except for rolling in my wheelchair to get where i have to go, and my arms will get tired. And i do get fatigued easy.
The giant problem is the chronic wounds on both feet that are now bleeding ceaselessly since day 9. I'm worried. I really want to keep my promise to God, but my wounds bleed without stopping. I pad it up and go about my day. Iv'e developed bad circulation in my legs, and have lymphadema, but never this problem until 9 days into fasting. The same is happening with my face after i cut myself shaving. The small little razor cuts bleed and don't heal.
Any help? I think it's from the lack of nutrients and vitamins that prevents the cells from multiplying. Also i take warfarin (blood thinner) for the blood clots i have in my left leg.

This is a reply to # 2,269,589Stop fasting on warfarin. Honestly, I don't get your reason for fasting at all. God wants you to?? What does that even mean? If there is a god I'd imagine he'd want you to take care of yourself, not fast on warfarin until you bleed out. Please let common sense prevail here. What does your prescribing doctor say about fasting while on blood thinners? What does a simple google search say about fasting on warfarin?

Many verses in the bible about fasting and denying yourself for God. It's a part of Christian life. Discipline, denial of self, sacrifice, closeness with God. Temperance. All things worthy of being developed.
But the no, i did not think about googling fasting on warfarin. I take 20mg, and i am sure that would make the blood flow. But why 9 days into me not eating?

This is a reply to # 2,269,589Right now you are bleeding because of the warfarin interacting with you fasting-low-level blood coagulation factors. You need to have a supervised fast with tests everyday. You can bleed to death doing what you are doing right now. Just rap it up and look for a better way to fast next time, as per above advice and my msg.

This is a reply to # 2,269,611If you don't stop fasting, which I strongly advise you to stop, you need to bet heavily on dark leafy greens - like parsley, cilantro, kale, sage, dill, oregano, alphalpha, dandelion, green sprouts (as from mung beens) maybe broccoli, celery, watercress and in general herbs juiced with masticating juicer (the other types will just waste the produce with little to none juice in your cup), or decide to get a rich salad in small portions made of them. Pls, check each and every herb above for its actions on coagulation beforehand, though; in general you need vit K promoting ones - like the majority above.
Arcus and I are more liberal in our God concepts, sorry that you feel challenged on your beliefs. No one wants to attack them. We are just concerned. I personally do not support martyrdom just for the sake of God, no matter what his name is.
BTW, wasn't Jesus who said "I told you, you are all Gods"? No matter if it was him or not, let's not turn the fasting forum into religious sparring.

This is a reply to # 2,269,624That makes sense. The doctor does tell you to avoid vitamin k while on warfarin, being that it counteracts it. And i will look into a masticating juicer. Never heard of one, though. The old juicer i have is my grandma's, and it barely produces any juice, and wastes all the pulp. Leaves large chunk of whatever you are juicing behind.
LOL. I don't feel attacked or challenged, nor did i have any intention of starting a debate (i just stated why i was fasting). Just simply responding to the assumptions and presuppositions messaged to me.
Nope. Not martyrdom either. I listed the reasons in response to Arcus.

I agree with all posters above. You need to stop and regather and try again. The fact that you have faith in God but no faith in the body that is created by the same God is unfathomable.
Our bodies are designed to heal itself if you do nothing and abstain from food. You are taking drugs while fasting is dangerous and shows that you have no faith in bodies ability to fix things by itself and you look for external forces to help you while taking the road to healing through fasting or juice fasting. Also day 9 has no magical significance, so it is immaterial to find reasoning for that, it could have been day 8 or day 10. Your body tried hard to protect you for 8 days, which it is also programmed to do, and then gave up.
You are juice fasting but even that is not done properly because you are consuming processed juices which are actually robbing your body of nutritional reserves instead of feeding it.
I feel for you, but this can be correct now. You do not want to wind up in ER.
Sorry, we all had to beat you up, but it is well intentioned.
BTW, God lives in your body, do the justice to that God.

Who told you i have no faith in the human body that God created? From where did you get that?
Plenty of examples show that God and Science mixes fine. That's a whole 'nother topic, but you could look it up yourself.
Don't know where you got that i am fasting, juicing and taking drugs in order to heal.
My dependence on God is not based on or limited to health security.
I am not having processed juice, i am buying juices from places that juice the veggies and fruits right in front of you.
I am a Christian. God's holy spirit and Jesus is indeed within, but he does not live within your body. Saying that negates him as a unique, higher being with a name, title, origin, rules, standards and overall personality.
I think you assumed way too much just from reading my post, and came up with your own conclusions and notions about certain things having nothing to do with what i asked. Thanks for the input, though.

This is a reply to # 2,269,613I am taking anti-psychotic meds while fasting. Is that ok? I think I did a juice fast of 22 days on Risperdal. No side effects. I am on Invega now and am going for a 22-day water fast.

This is a reply to # 2,270,299Hi. I was given an Invega Sustenna injection... I got a total of 2 injections... It's been about 4 months since my last injection and I still feel no improvement.... I suffer from not getting a natural erection, weakness(I'm unable to exercise), and my creativity is gone.... Do you know if a cure to get this poisen(Invega Sustenna) out of the system... I hear it goes into fat... Do you guys know of any free programs to get this medication out of the system? I also can't cry and don't have joy from sex(very little sperm discharges). Do you know how to cure this and get Invega Sustenna 100% out of the system?
