Last night I went to bed fine, and at 4AM it felt as though a truck had rolled over me. The aches in my leg were intense, fever, runny nose, cough, teary eyes.
I know this is not detox as my 16 year old was sick two weeks ago and my fiance has been sick as a dog this week with the same flu symptoms.
I am running a low grade fever of about 100.9. I just did my SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) (try typing out a message LOL)
Has anyone else ever gotten the flu on the fast? If so, did you continue? Is there anything I should be worried about?
I will say this, where it took 3-4 days for the two other family members to get all of the symptoms, mine hit fast and hard, almost like it is accelerating through my body

This is a reply to # 226,564Staying with the cleanse will move those toxins out the fastest, in my experience. Make sure to drink lots more water, plenty of lemonades and rest... When I get sick, if it happens I will be drinking these lemonades and not eating. Before the MC, I would stop eating, have lots of ginger tea and ginger capsules and tons of water to flush out any colds I got. Worked really fast every time.

MoreThis is a reply to # 226,564Oh my, sorry about your flu. Hang in there. If you think about it, you don't eat with the flu anyway, so this fast may be the perfect thing. Rest, rest, rest. And drink your lemonade and water. Let us know how quickly you recover, I'm betting it will be faster than the rest of your family.

This is a reply to # 226,564It is definitely a personal choice and whatever decision you make won't be wrong for you, but I would stay on the MC. If you were doing a water fast, I'd probably say go off it, but the Master-Cleanse gives you all the nutrients you need for the short time you are on it and in fact may help you get over the flu faster since your body is not dealing with digesting food. - Re: Day 4: Woke up with the FLU HELP... ramiske

MoreThis is a reply to # 226,564When I started my MC, I was at the tail-end of a flu, but it had turned into a sinus infection. I went ahead and started the Master-Cleanse anyway, and now, by Day 5, my sinuses have magically drained and I no longer have the pain. I really can't believe it. It usually would take me weeks to clear a sinus infection without a prescription!
So, I'd say, just hang in there!

This is a reply to # 226,573Thank you for the encouragement...I tried to sleep buy by 11:30AM gave up I seem to be less achy when sitting, standing or moving.
I took some lemonade w/o the cayenne and made it with 2T extra lemon juice this morning
The worst is not running to the Tylenol to relieve the pain/fever....
As Dory find Finding Nemo sang:
"Just Keep Sipping....just keep sipping".....LOL
