Hi Tayto!
I know how you feel! I'm a vegan too, and if I eat too much fat, my face can break out, otherwise I feel so much better. If you are emotional, I wonder if you are getting enough calories in the form of carbohydrates? Carbs make you happy, your brain will tell the difference right away!:) But high carb must be done with low fat, you will feel crappy otherwise.
Also, have you looked into the amazing info coming out about b-12? I have started Freddd's tritating protocol to get up on my b-12, I am very excited because I can see it is already working. There is so much to read about it, I bet you could benefit from this info Tayto, if you could take the time to read it...wishing you luck!

Sure, it is very involved in detoxification and influences liver flow, which is the king of detoxification for the body. The skin is very related to liver;)
Do you avoid dairy?
Nevermind, you're a vegan of course you avoid dairy:). Do high carb low fat, look at freelee, etc. B12 was the turn around for her to lose her weight and cellulite. I am tritating on it, it is very funky at first, must be done properly. It's awesome what it can do for the body.

Hi Director,
Yes, this is what I am thinking as well. This could be why they tire me out so much.
I also believe that the coffee enemas, although a lifesaver sometimes too, could reduce or deplete b12. As we know, they stimulate production of Glutothione immensely, and Glutothione is believed (or known) to use up quite a bit of b12. If someone is already depleted or nearly depleted of b12, it could be a bad idea to continue the coffee enemas without getting tritrated up on the active b12's, etc. first or simultaneously.
I haven't thought all of this through completely, but am feeling so much better after getting started on Freddd's protocol for titrating the b12's. It's such a treasure hunt sometimes with all of these healing practices. One thing works, but then depletes another. But we keep pressing on:)

Hi Director,
Boy do I hear you on the supps! I can't even really tolerate them, so I avoid them, but b12 is unique and in a class of it's own, IMHO. Also, I am vegan, so I am def not getting it in my diet.
I am using this outline of Freddd's protocol. I am titrating up with the active b12's and folate as I have CFS and can't afford any crashes or "healing" crisis anytime soon.
I am taking 1/3 tablet of mb12 every morning after breakfast, must keep it under the tongue as long as possible. I did that for 3 days, then added in 1/4 tablet of 800mcg folate. That made me feel good, amazingly. I did have some of what Freddd refers to as "start up" reactions to the tiny amount of mb12, like dizzy, drunk feelings. This means I really need the stuff so I am happy I'm on to this.
Then after 7 days, this wed., I will add in the adb12, which is the other active form of b12. This outline really helps to understand the process better.

Also, the way the body uses b12 is still over my head, but I found this thread on Andreas' forum. He didn't seem to think the liver flush washed it all out, but some practicioners apparently do believe that, so maybe nobody knows. Regardless, a lot of ills are associated and being reversed with this protocol, so I think it's something we should all investigate, try and then adopt or rule out before we do more invasive things, IMHO.

I also am finding quite a bit of good info on this site regarding nutrigenomics and b12, etc:

Hi Tayto,
I believe the Jarrow is the one Freddd recommends. I couldn't find and am using Solgar mb12, it is working just fine too.
Here is the breakdown of how to titrate up on the b12's and the folate, very good to do it this way as then you will know your body's reaction to these vital things like the back of your hand and it'll empower you in many ways....good luck!

Walgreens has enema bags, you can do simple warm water enemas, does wonders for the colon, your mind and your liver. I get colonics twice a month, and if I do a few enemas, I get as much release from the liver as with colonics. Stay simple, rebuild your gut. Get off supps for a week and see if brain fog clears up, if so, you have a good indication that b12/methylation is the prob....good luck with flush!
p.s. I personally would not water fast right now, focus on gut health:)

Sorry! Got you confused with someone else regarding supps!
I still stay the same regarding water fasting. Look into b12, and get going on some warm water enemas, keep it simple. If acne is your only prob, (I know it really really sucks) you are far better off than a lot of people on here and some of the therapies recommended unfortunately can make people worse, but I agree with liver flushing, but get going on b12 education/tritating and enemas...all the best to you!

Tayto,
I'm sorry about your scars, I know it is very rough! You will heal, I am just trying to get you to see please do not do anything that will make yourself worse, because it is very easy to do so. Fasting is hard on the body, I used to believe in it, but now I don't know. Our bodies are so incredibly toxic and immune systems are damaged from this modern world.
Also, regarding the B12, it is the THE most important thing you could do for your health right now, IMHO. It is that huge. It is downplayed and ignored because it hasn't been studied in the West extensively. Most of the scientific research is being done in Japan.
Please look into it, it is like a delicate process to get yourself up on it. I take Methylated B12 in a sublingual tablet, don't take Cyano B12. I did do injections at home, but the start up reactions were pretty heavy. You have to start small and work your way up to saturation. Could take a few months, etc.
I started with 1/4 a tablet and I had start up symptoms. Leave it under your tongue at least 45 mins, that is key. It doesn't take much to get the engines going in the body, just the right thing.
It can make you deficient in other things in the beginning, read upn on titrating, or type in Freddd's protocol. Rich's b12 protocol is good too. I'm excited about what it is doing for me in only a short while.
I wish you all the best in your journey! I have been into natural health since 1987, and this is the most remarkable stuff I have ever read, it is new and cutting edge regarding titrating up on b-12's.
