I have a massive infection of Ascaris. It was in my gut and is still disseminated. But in 1 week I was able to almost completely clear my gut.

I had literally over a hundred Ascaris in my gut. My gut was so full of worms that I stopped eating completely for five days. They started to travel. It was NOT good!!! So they were all up in my liver and my pancreas.

Lets get to the good news. I was desperate. I found a study on pubmed where they gave Papain to swine in different amounts. 8 grams of papain killed 100% of Ascaris. 6 grams of papain did not. (On pubmed search for this article: Effect of papaya latex against Ascaris suum in naturally infected pigs.)

So I ordered Now Chewable Papain, 100 mg. They have a pleasant taste. I took 6 so a total of 300 mg since two pills is a serving. That night I thought my gut was going to burst. The worms in my intestines were writhing so much. I kept taking the Papain with 2 Zymex, 3 times a day. Still no eating. But I didn't need to eat, because I was digesting worms. So on day 7 of my fast (first five days were useless) I felt like my intestines were emptier and I had driven the rest of the worms down. Kept taking the enzyme, kept not eating. My intestines felt enflamed and sick. Also taking Barefoot dewormer still, because it has good cleansing properties. Was hoping to avoid infection.

Day 4 of Enzymes my gut feels completely empty and flat and no longer enflamed. Let me tell you that is such a wonderful feeling. Day 5 of Enzymes I ate a meal. I felt one big worm, the grandmother I believe, moving around. I felt other worms that had disseminated trying to get into my gut (through my liver) (because this is the first meal in like 10 days). I took more enzymes and they must sense that because it chased them away. Last night I felt the big one still moving around. It is about the size of my finger around. IT is huge. I plan on doing a massive dose of Papain combined with an enema mixed with Papain powder. But last week I had well over a hundred worms in my gut, now I have maybe 1.

I am now 100% confident I can get that last Ascaris. My problem is that my infection had been going on for over 10 years and at one point last year my doctors had me on Prednisone, thinking my sickness was something else. So the Ascaris migrated greatly out of my gut. Now I'm trying to figure out how to reach those in this same manner.

So I started to follow this course of action. I found on wikipedia in the Ascaris article it lists the Ascaris defense mechanism. They turn off our production of certain enzymes in our body in order to protect themselves.

“As part of the parasite defense strategy, Ascaris roundworms secrete a series of inhibitors to target digestive and immune-related host proteases, which include pepsin, trypsin, chymotrypsin/elastase, cathepsins, and metallocarboxypeptidases (MCPs). Ascaris inhibits MCPs by releasing an enzyme known as Ascaris carboxypeptidase inhibitor (ACI). This enzyme binds to the active site of MCP and blocks the cleavage of its own proteins by the host MCP (Sanglas et al., 2008)”

The thing to understand about digestive enzymes is they do not only go in your gut. They also circulate in your blood and throughout your body.

So my theory is this: If they turn off certain receptors in or body to keep us from creating certain enzymes to protect themselves, then perhaps what I need to do is add those enzymes back in my body through supplements. So I bought some enzymes today that contain trypsin and Chymotrypsin. Another one has proteases. Metallocarboxypeptidases and Cathepsins are a Protease. I’m hoping this will help kill off the disseminated worms.

If anyone else tries the Enzyme approach, please let us know how it goes. I think there is a lot to learn here. I DO NOT recommend taking the massive dose first thing, because trust me, initially, I felt like my gut would burst. So you may want to start out slower then even I did. And I don’t recommend starting out with fasting. Because when I fasted, all the worms moved up in my gut looking for food, so they were concentrated in one spot. I suggest starting the enzymes while eating lightly, then after you have done them for a few days, then do a few days of fasting, then hit the mega dose while still fasting. The enema is because I know at least the big one hides out in my colon. But the movement in my intestines is so much less.

I’ve still been taking the invermectin to try to keep the ones that are disseminated still, because when you take these, they will start moving and writhing. I don’t want them wandering.
