I did get a usb microscope that goes up to 200x so that's what I'm using.

The doctors are useless here as well (south africa) and it's because the medical boards give them guidelines to follow. No brain required... just collect consult fees, and write as many scripts as you can so you get a portion of the sales paid back to when the pharma reps come around again.

The scope that the dermatologist used when she examined me didn't even zoom in as much as what mine does. My GP's answer to all this is just to go to another dermatologist.

I got tested for fungus last time but they phoned me after 4 days and said there is nothing... I'd love to know what culture they use because as far as I know some fungus can take up to 10 days to grow.

Rice makes a good medium to grow fungus in apparently so I'm going to leave hair in one jar, scrape skin into a second jar and leave a third jar with just rice to compare.

Other than this.. I'm about to start my own skin scraping to see if I can find anything in my skin.

I'm still looking for more of those weird things on my clothes so I can cut one open.

I will check out the paleo diet, I figured I'd cut out all Sugar (even fruit except for lemon in water) and sticking to chicken and veggies. I have to eat potatoes every second day at least and I'm cutting out all dry products (rice, lentils etc) and using sprouts and bean shoots as much as I can.

I'm on probiotics and nothing else. I don't take pills/homeopathic remedies if I can help it.

I prefer teas and using herbs so I drink passionflower tea at night to help with inflammation in my colon (avoid leaky gut) and I'm using sage leaves in the bath to help my skin. I'll see what herbs I can use that help with the liver.
