Stool Sample & Worm Specimen Lab Tests - Reasons For False Negative Results

Most folks are unaware that labs don't do a "human-eye" exam of stool samples or worm specimens & they don't test the entire contents you submit.

Their mechanized equipment takes only a small smear & puts it on a culture dish. 

Chances are slim the random smear contains any larva or eggs, even though they might be in other parts of the sample. 

Chances are even slimmer that there's anything to test since larva & eggs aren't shed everyday.

Computerized microscopes scan the culture & compare it to their library of digital profiles of parasite eggs & larva. 

There are thousands of parasite types & species, but most labs have digital images of only the 25-50 most common ones.

And unless it's a "biopsy" test, the lab doesn't take a cross-section of worms or specimens to examine microscopically.

The standard lab finding of "Negative" is the norm, which, of course, is BS.

Bottom line:  The majority of labs utilize limited state-of-the-art testing techniques.  Upgrading their parasite image library would cost them $$.  And that leaves you s*it out of luck finding a lab that can accurately test your s*it.

So you're $tuck with paying the piper to look at your pile of poop, even though the results were BS.  (lol)
