According to my research you have nothing to worry about with your relatively large Iodine dosages. Whatever the body does not need goes out in the urine. However your story really confirms what Trapper has been saying all along. We really do need a lot more Iodine than the Iodine doctors are prescribing. Clearly the brain benefits somehow.

This makes me wonder - what about a drug addict? Will iodine cure drug addiction?

Man I wish I had read this sooner. Oh well, I'm just using Lugols with vit c.

BTW, I agree, iodoral has been nothing but trouble. I slept for almost a day and a half the first time I took it (bromide is a very strong sleep inducer I think). Very strong, may be too strong for me.
